The Stokke Tripp Trapp Baby Set is made specifically for the Tripp Trapp Highchair from Stokke. It is made of the environmentally friendly plastic material that is recyclable and safe for children. The Baby Set includes a seating rail and a hi-back. It can easily be attached to the Tripp Trapp highchair to provide additional support and stability as well as allowing a baby as young as 6 months old to join the family meal at the dining table. The new Baby Set provides more comfort and support which encourages the child to interact more with the family.

We got the Stokke high chair & baby set as a shower gift and 7 months later my baby is ready to use it. We set up the chair & realized the baby set did not fit on the chair. [...]I contacted Stokke & the "baby set" only fits the newer chair, which you cannot specifically order on the BRU site. If you have an older seat (ours was manufactured Oct 2007 - it's printed on the bottom of the chair's leg) what you need is a Stokke "baby rail," which is much cheaper than the baby set.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this baby frame only to find out that it doesn't fit on the Stokke high chair I also purchased from BRU. Come to find out that this baby frame only fits on high chairs made in June '08 or later, and mine is the older version. This should have been disclosed on the website to avoid this problem - looking at the reviews, it seems I wasn't the first to suffer this!

This is easy to install onto the high chair. It holds my son in it well as I put the straps on him. It doesn't seem very comfortable (more functional), but my son doesn't complain (and he's just over 4 months), and it seems easy to clean. Since he's still small and not quite eating solids yet, we've only been putting him in the seat to get him used to it. Overall the set is solid, feels safe, seems easy to clean, and our son doesn't complain too much when we put him in it (only when sitting there for too long).

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I've also purchased the Stokke Tripp Trapp highchair to go with the product for my son and daughter-in-law. They received it and said the quality is superior to other chairs and made to last a lifetime.
