The BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Air is ideal for the active, on-the-go parent. The machine-washable carrier features wide shoulder straps that distribute your baby's weight evenly over your back and shoulders, providing carrying comfort and relieving pressure. The carrier offers proper support for your child's head, back and hips from birth. As your child grows and is able to hold up his or her own head, the adjustable head support can be folded down so he or she can face front to have a look around. The design allows you to carry your child safely and close to you, and all adjustments are made from the front. It is easy to put on and take off without assistance and can be opened entirely to lift out your sleeping child without waking him or her. Made from breathable 3D mesh, the carrier wicks away moisture and heat from you and your baby and can be stored in the included storage bag. The fabrics closest to your child have been tested and guaranteed harmless and allergen free to your baby's sensitive skin.

Doesn't get much better than Baby Bjorn products. I ordered another carrier that was a little more stylish at first, but it wouldn't fit my husband, who is a big, tall guy. This one fits everyone. The construction's great - very sturdy and lightweight. It can be a little complex to hook up, but you get used to it. Living in a humid area, we wanted something that wasn't going to get all damp and sweaty - and so far the mesh seems to work well, it's a nice feature. We've used it for a few months now and will continue to - and it wears so well, that I know it'll be in great shape for our next baby someday, too.

It's comfortable for the baby, and easy to use, but definitely your shoulders are sore after using. I think it could be better made to distribute weight evenly. It's a very light carrier though, which for us was nice since we traveled a lot. Over all this TYPE of carrier is great, but you might want to look into getting a less expensive one, or one that doesn't cause shoulder/back aches. But I do recommend this style of carriers, whether Bjorn or a different brand (especially since Dad can carry Baby around too).

        I previously purchased a cloth Boba and my 2 month old hated it! I also found it to be cumbersome. The BabyBjorn is so easy to use and my little girl falls aslpee everytikme she is strapped in! The sturdy straps also make it ideal for traveling with the litle one.

          My newborn has been really fussy, but she seems to calm down when I hold her. I tried the baby bjorn carrier for the first time today, and it worked like a charm. My only con would be that my back started to ache a little bit after I'd walked around, and she's only 8 pounds. I'm interested to see if carrying her around when she's heavier will be manageable.

                Great carrier that is easy to use right out of the box. I was worried since I am taller than average, but this product fit perfectly. My son loves it and falls asleep immediately. He appears to be comfortable and does not pinch anywhere that I can see. He is 3 weeks old, 8.5 lbs and 19.5 in. The adjustable strap works great and I look forward to him growing and this product supporting him along the way. It frees up my hands to be able to accomplish things around the house that otherwise would hinder me by holding him.

                  After reading several reviews of carriers, this one made it to our registry. Our only possible concern was that it wouldn't fit my husband who's a pretty big guy (5'11", 270lbs). When he tried it on, we adjusted it for his frame and it fits perfectly. He says it's comfortable too!
