I recommend this highly. We purchased this book for our daughter's first Christmas based on reviews--it was tough between the animals and girly fairies, but decided the animals had a more educational aspect.

I was able to spell out my daughter's first, middle and last name for the story. The pictures are great, the animals never repeat and I can read the entire book to my 5 month old and keep her attention the entire time with the bright and colorful pictures. The book is pricey but it is really worth it.

This book is beautifully illustrated and bound with a hard-cover, appropriate for either a boy or girl. Having it personalized makes it special, and something the parents will treasure and the child will come to appreciate as a keepsake when grown. I ordered this for my niece who will be celebrating her first birthday soon. Also, the certificate would make a nice baby shower gift, which can be completed after the baby is born.

I'm so glad to see these books here. I've been buying them at a department store and just love them. They describe how a child is named and have a dedication from the buyer to the child. The children love to have the story read over an d over because it is all about them. The illustrations are beautiful and parents like the educational feature of teaching the child to read their name.
