I don't know why it is so hard to find these. This crib pad is simple, effective, and lasts forever. Because it is not fitted it works in a variety of cribs (great for traveling - especially if you live overseas). And, that means it still works to protect toddler beds, regular mattresses, anything with a sheet you can slip it under. I'm stocking up for the new baby since the toddler still uses his.

I have some crib sized ones and some bassinet sized ones. They are soft, flexible, quiet, and waterproof. They are great for spitty newborns, so you don't have to change the sheets every time, and they have future use, unlike the sheet savers with ties that they sell now.

I also have one under my pre-schoolers bedsheets, so that if his pull up leaks, I don't have to wash his mattress pad too. (Although he moves around enough this isn't fool proof.)

Once the baby is moving around more, I wouldn't trust these in the crib.

I use them for tummy time, especially when visiting other people's homes, so spit/drool doesn't seep through to their carpets.

They make a great changing pad when traveling or just in the family room. They aren't padded, and fold up neatly. For an older toddler/or preschooler, the bassinet sized ones are fine for changing time, but for a wiggly little baby, you'd want the crib size.

I've had mine for 4.5 years, and they've been washed tons, and while there is minimal pilling, they are being used for my third child and I have no interest in replacing them any time soon.

They have patterned ones in the store.

I use these flat pads to layer sheets in the crib. I use a fitted pad over the mattress, then a sheet, flat pad, sheet, etc. When a sheet gets wet or dirty, I pull it off along with the flat pad and the crib is ready. No changing sheets in the middle of the night!

Your description says fitted. This is a FLAT pad. It seems to be top quality but I needed fitted. Due to time constraints, I kept it and put elastic bands on it. You might want to change your description.

When I ordered online, the description said "fitted". This is NOT fitted. It is a flat pad. It seems to be very high quality but I needed a fitted pad. Since this is used only a few times a year, I will keep it but I was a little disappointed.

They are soft and WATERPROOF. Really, I let my daughter be naked for a bit and she peed on it--and it was like a swimming pool, it absorbed some, but the rest puddled, and nothing soaked through it!

I cut this pad in 1/4's and use them on the changing table. I layer them up, so if a diaper is a bit messy, I can just toss the pad in the laundry and have another one already laying there ready to go for the next diaper change w/o having to wash the entire changing pad cover.

I also use the bassinet-sized pad--cut in half--as a piddle pad in the carseat, and it saved the seat from multiple blow-outs!

I just wish they made this product in decorative prints.

Our daughter is almost a year and we use this everyday (we have 2 pads). When she was really small, we'd let her have naked time on it since it is water proof. It helped air things out. We now use it to change her on the ground (or on a bed when traveling) and lotion her up after her bath. The nicest thing is when she is sick, we just put it in her crib on top of her sheet and if something happens in the middle of the night, we just take out one and put the other one in there ... no changing the sheets or mattress pad at 2 a.m. It folds down small. We also got two small ones for her changing pad and to put in her crib when she was a newborn and would spit up a little bit.
