I got this because I hurt my wrist and couldn't put my baby wrap on without hurting it further. I am surprised at how much I love this sling and will use it until son grows out of it. It is excellent for nursing in public without exposing too much, the padding is comfy, baby loves it and I like the mesh by the face. My only con - and if I was a lefty wouldn't mind - is the small pocket perfect for cell phones or pacis is on the bottom left. It is hard to reach when baby is in sling. I also love this for the grocery store or chores!

This worked best when I was sitting and needed to hold my daughter but able to be hands free (at the computer) She was almost 3 months when I got it and I think she was getting a bit big (only 11lbs - having not been acclimated at a younger age). She seemed sort of smooshed in and did not get used to it. I tried to prepare dinner with it on and it did not work at all.

I was able to nurse in it, but found it easier to just take a break and nurse.

BRU seems to have a good return policy so it may be worth trying it out.

I used this carrier for my newborn until about six months. He was a very large baby so he did outgrow the carrier sooner then other babies. I loved carrying my baby close to my body and have the ability to feed him while in the sling. This is a wonderful product!

I absolutely Love this sling! I have been using it since my baby was only a couple of weeks old. My baby now 3 mos old and I still Love it. Elias falls asleep in it and stays asleep for hrs. I use it on a regular basis doing grocery shopping, shopping at the mall, enjoying meals out, taking my older kids to the Science museum and baby Elias loves being in it. I successfully use it at home when he gets fussy-I just popped him in my sling and walk around the room and he falls asleep within seconds!!!Now that he is a bit heavier my shoulder does hurt after about 1hr of carrying him-but it is not that bad-I wouldn't be able to get things done w/out it. Also there is enough space in it to keep my phone/wallet, a burbcloth or even my babies bottle. Needless to say that Iget many comments from strangers commending on how nice it looks and how comfortable my baby seems in it, and what a cute idea it is. I LOVE IT!!!!

We were looking for a carrier that would be comfortable for me & my husband - we are both larger sized people (I am a size 22; he is about a 48" waist) and the front carriers hurt my back & didn't fit him. This carrier fits us both with a little extra room (we do have it at the largest setting). My 2 month old loves it - she falls right to sleep but we are also comfortable feeding her in it - burping is a challenge. It is very comfortable & doesn't hurt my back at all!! We also use it around the house while working on the computer or just needing hands-free time.

i'm a busy working mom of 5, this was the best thing i bought for baby dom. he loves it! and nursing him while he rested inside was easy. its comfortable for me and baby. great for busy moms like me. its perfect!

I was really disappointed with this product. I wanted something that I could carry my baby around close to me and still have my hands free. This was a complete waste of money. Its hard to adjust so you can fit through and I'm smaller. My baby was so uncomfortable, any way that I tried to position him, his chin was always pushed into his chest. It just didn't feel safe or comfortable for me. I felt like I needed to hold my son from underneath. I hate this. If the box had not been thrown out before I used it, I would have returned it.

Wow, seems like a lot of polarizing reviews for this item.

Our friends gave us one of this along with a Baby Bjorn carrier. I didn't have any fit issues using this...or sore back/shoulder. However, my wife thinks it feels heavy carrying the baby in this for just a short while. Given how there is no strap to hold the sling against the body, this thing bounces and swings around when doing chores around the house.

Even though our baby sleeps fine in this sling, her posture just doesn't seem proper. Yes, I do realize that this sling is supposed to simulate the womb, in which the baby is crunched up in a fetal position. However, unlike being inside the womb, the baby's head is turned to one side or another, which a baby doesn't do in any of the ultrasounds we've seen of our baby. Also the womb has amniotic fluid, so it provides bouyancy to better distribute the weight.

Given these observations, we decided to use the Baby Bjorn carrier instead for our outings; our baby also seems to like it more; as do we.

This sling is not without its uses. If you're not going out, it works great as a baby swing/hammock, in which case you hang this sling onto something stationary and then the baby's head will be centered (instead of turned to one side or another due to the contour of your body) and more like being in the womb.

I purchased this when my son was three months old so I could use it while nursing. He hated it. He could not see anything and it was not comfortable to nurse in. It might be okay for a newborn but will not work when the baby starts to look around bc the baby can not see out of it. I returned it for a peanut shell nursing cover (great product!) and different carrier.
