This is a good toy for an older child. We gave this to our 4 1/2 year old grandson and he is having fun with it, but he doesn't watch where those claws go when they are extended. Makes realistic sounds.

My five-year-old received so many things for Christmas. D-rex and Super Mario Wii were the two he had asked Santa for. He hadn't even asked for these, but this is what he played with all day! I don't like that you have to buy them separately. What kid wants only one claw?

I got two of these for my 7 yr old based on previous comments about it being better when they have one for each hand. They were so right. My son absolutely LOVES these. He loves to make the Wolverine X in front of his face like in the movies. Totally worth it and the sound effects are great.

The claws are great, and my son's favorite birthday gift! You should buy 2 claws, to get the full effect like Wolverine! The blades are not soft, so if you are buying them for rough and tough boy, buy with caution. They are durable, and the sounds are fun and easy to activate.

I got the claws (2 of them - per recommendations from other consumers) for my son's 7th b'day. He really likes them. My son's on the small side of avg, but he managed them well. He played w/them all w/e, but like most things he has entrusted them to the comforts of his toy chest. The claws are durable to the use of any typical boy (or toy chest). My only "complaint" is about retracting the blades. No biggie, but it takes a little extra effort to push them back n2 place. Other than that, I thought it was a good choice for my son & me.

My son had wanted this for his birthday ever since he first saw it advertised. I wasn't sure if it would be up to his expectations but he loves it. We have only had it about a week but he can't put it down. The only down side to this product is that it is sometimes hard to get the "claws" to go back into the fist but it just needs a little more force than what my son could give it. I would recommend it to anyone!
