Product Description

Hop on Board! Strolling around has never been easier with two children. The versatile Caboose Stand-On Tandem allows an older child to stand on its patented rear platform while a younger child rides comfortably in front. If the standing child tires, they can turn around and rest on the padded rear seat. Fully equipped with a universal car seat attachment system, the Caboose can accommodate an infant in the car seat so you can use it as soon as your new arrival comes. And parents make out too because the Caboose is lightweight and folds up compactly. It also has a large basket and storage pockets for everything youll need to take along with you. And the rear platform means no more lifting a heavier older child in and out of the stroller when they want to see or get tired. The Caboose Stand-On Tandem makes strolling two children a breeze!

I recently purchased this stroller online since it is not available in stores. I have two girls so I just had to get the purple model :-) I have a 4 year old (average size, 35 lbs) and a 12 week old baby. My husband put the stroller together and said it was a simple task. I bought the parent organizer so that I could have cup holders and I am so glad I did because it works out great. We recently used the stroller for the first time on a little weekend getaway in San Francisco. Our baby still isn't quite ready to sit in the front seat of the stroller so she rides in her Chicco infant seat on the stroller. The stroller comes with an attachment so you can put an infant seat on the stroller. It is super easy to install, it just clicks in to where the child's cupholder/tray would normally be (the tray snaps on and off easily). In order to have an infant carrier on the stroller the seat has to be reclined. Even with the seat reclined my 4 year old had plenty of room to sit on the bench (the bench slides forward and backward a little). The sun was sometimes in our baby's eyes but between the cover on the infant seat and the cover on the stroller we were able to block the sun from her eyes. There isn't a ton of storage space in the basket down below, but we were able to fit a blanket, a few sweaters, our baby bjorn carrier, and some baby wipes in it (could have shoved a few more things in there, but we didn't have the need to do so). We walked all over the city with the stroller and it manuevered well. The only downfall for this stroller in my eyes is that the seat doesn't recline all the way (would be nice if you wanted to lay baby down while you are out). There also isn't room for a diaper bag, unless you hang it around the handles of the stroller. We carry a backpack as a diaper bag, so it isn't a problem for us. Stroller folds up easily and fits well into the back of my Toyota 4Runner. Overall, I am very happy I purchased this stroller.

I recently (September) purchase a Joovy Caboose at [$] from Toysrus online because our local store did not carry it, I read the reviews and theys seemed good, I have a now 4 month old and a small 3 year old. I hate this stroller and have since regretted the decision. I can hardly lift it and it barely fits in my trunk and I have a Grand Prix 4 door that is not a compact car, and when I do maneuver it in there is NO ROOM FOR anything like groceries and shopping bags. Not having a cup holder really is a pain nw that I have used it a few times too. I am so envious when I see the other moms with their different brand of sit n stand strollers that have cup holders. Also when my 3 year old sits on the seat it is constantly sliding on her as there is nothing to lock it in place. So might as well not have a stroller wit back seat, there is no room for my average size diaper bag in the under compartment either. And my 4 month old still cant sit in seat as it does not lay back and is not cushy enough. Very disappointed in this, I saved up to buy this and now I just leave it in the trunk as its just a pain to use but I really need a stroller I can use. Is there a way I can still return this or get a credit for a different stroller that I can use, would try to sell it but dont feel right selling something I hate myself. Please let me know or I guess there will be a very luck garbage man (or unlucky) very soon and I will jus be out [$] dollars cause with 3 kids I HAVE to have a stroller that I can actually lift without getting a hernia!

I've only had this stroller for a few days, but so much better than other double strollers!( which I had and gave it to someone I saw needed more than me!
I have a 11 month old and a 2 1/2 year old! It is perfect for them! Fits in my GMC Acadia as well!

Comments about Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller - Purpleness:

So far I am very happy with this stroller, it is an utilitarian stroller, with just enough storage for a snack and a few diapers. If you are going to be out all day I would plan on carrying the diaper bag, since it is a bit difficult to get to the basket with a kid in the way.

The only thing I was disappointed in was that a drink tray was not included, but Joovy did design one specifically for this stroller. It was a little odd since all the other sit and stands I looked at came with one.

Comments about Joovy Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller - Purpleness:

Since my older daughter turned 2 1/2, she wants to be a big girls and walk and not sit in the double stroller anymore. So my husband and I went on the search for a sit and stand that would suit our needs. We decided on the Joovy caboose in purple after going to the stores and trying out all the sit and stands we read about. This past weekend we went to the Bronx Zoo with it and 1- favorite feature is the big basket underneath so I can stuff it with all our stuff, 2- I love the legs lift feature so my 15 month olds feet don't dangle, 3- I love that the tray comes off so we could get the baby in and out easily to see the animals, 4- my older daughter loves the freedom of walking and sitting when she needs a break! Easy to fold, and fits great in the back of our jeep Cherokee with lots of room to spare!

Good stroller to take a day out. Our baby can sit up front while one of the older kids sits in the back to take a rest. Our three year old likes to take breaks and sit once in a while. Older kids can sit and snack on the go too.
