We purchased this toy for our daughter on her first birthday. It has never been her favorite toy, but it is one she keeps coming back to. She has outgrown many of her other toys, but not this one. It was a little difficult for her to pull the handle for a while, which was frustrating to her. But she figured it out, and now enjoys playing. It is great for working on the names and sounds of different animals, and even includes a couple of farm songs. I think this toy has been a good challenge, and educational.

It's a cute toy. My daughter wasn't interested in it at first and had a hard time pulling the lever down. It's not a toy she plays with all the time, just once in a while. Mostly if we're in the car or in her high chair, but other then that she mostly doesn't even touch it.

                        I had one of these as a child so I wanted one for my kids. This was a big disappointment. The spinner worked fine. The sound didn't register unless you held it perfectly upright or perfectly flat. My daughter liked it anyway and I liked the variety of animals and things. Then recently it gave out altogether. We've had it nearly a year but it didn't get real regular use. I hoped it would last a long time like mine did as a kid.

                            If you grew up with "The cow says...Moooo" then you already know all there is to know about this classic. This is a slightly updated version with more options (two pages), but still true to it's basic function...point to the object with the arrow, pull the lever and hear what the animal says.

                                  We had this toy over 25 yrs ago. As it was then, it was bought for a child who is slow at speaking.                                     We bought this toy for our son's 1st birthday and he LOVES it. As does our 4 year old, actually! The baby is now 18 months old and he knows so many of his animals and the sounds they make! It's wonderful!! (And PS - Ours says "GOAT" just fine.)
