We wanted green diapers for our baby. We tried 7th Generation diapers NEWBORN, and they leaked a lot, especially at night. We tried Earth's Best, and we are now using this product. I think it the best "disposable" green diaper. People on the reviews complain that they are too rough, but that is the trade-off of being green, and more environmentally sound. We have not had any accidents or leaks with this brand. Common sense is that if one goes more than 3 hours checking your baby's diaper, you run the risk of leaks. You should check & change that frequently anyway to prevent diaper rash. I think this product is great. It is a better fit for our petite newborn...born 5lbs, 14 oz, and now 7 lbs, 5 oz.

Hubby & I decided to use a greener-disposable diaper instead of the original AIO's cloth diapers we were planning to use. With us living in the desert, we would have used alot more water than the amount of waste from these diapers. Our water is rationed, so extra laundry cycles would have been counter-productive on our green journey. Anyhow, tried these and Seventh Generation diapers. I liked how these have a more natural shape to baby's bottom, absorbent, & they have the moisture-wicking mesh lining on the inside like Pampers does, BUT, the stiffer construction, & equally-stiff/scratchy leg gussets that contain baby's waste proved to leave uncomfortable red sensitive marks on my baby's inner legs.. This is the reason why I decided to stick to Seventh Generation. Given, 7th Generation diapers are more boxy, have a more natural look to them, & contain the same benefits as Earth's Best, but the reason why I am sticking with them is because they are def. softer on our baby's bottom.. He's the one wearing the diaper, so he should feel comfortable in it.. Alot of ppl switch to Earth's Best because 7th Generation supposedbly leaks, but they don't if you stretch open the leg gussets before applying the diaper on your baby.. If you don't, the mess will leak out of the diaper. Both Earth's Best and 7th Generation are equally priced, both are perfume/chlorine/chem, etc etc free.. But for baby's sake, 7th Generation def. beats out Earth's Best on softness and comfort for baby.. ANOTHER CON. to Earth's Best: they leave a bunch of gel particles on your baby's bottom..Not very easy to wipe off quick when you've got a squirmy baby boy who can pee on you at any time..lol! Quick diaper changes with boys due to this is essential! hehe! So, nope.. I don't recommend these diapers.. Go with 7th Generation instead =)

Comments about Hain Celestial 1010315 Earth's Best TenderCare Superior Absorbency Newborn Diapers - 40 Count:
Bought these to try them out because of their excellent price. They fit oddly in comparison to other newborn diapers leading to leaks.

They fit good and have good coverage. They are a little rough feeling for a newborn.
I will continue to buy.
I typically only buy organic or natural products for my baby. This is one of my favorite brands. I will say there is nothing soft or pretty about these diapers. They are what they are. They do seem a little rough but so far my baby has not had any issues.
Bought as a gift
My daughter in law requested these for her baby, due in May.
Love these diapers

About Me Parent of Two or More Children
I love these diapers, they don't leave behind any water beads and keeps her skin dry between diaper changes. I would gladly pay a little more to have the ease of mind for me and comfort for my baby.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Used until umbilical cord fell off. They didn't break him out and held up well.

Gave my baby diaper rash
from New Orleans
I was given these by a friend, I was excited and hoped they would be good so I could switch to a more natural product. After 4 days of using I know I will not be purchasing this brand ever. The first thing I noticed is they are stiff/rough. Secondly they run small , my baby is in ones right now , I had to recheck the box to make sure it wasnt NB size. And lastly as I changed my babies diaper tonight I noticed shes developed a rash , she's 2 months old and before using these diapers never had even any redness. I change her very often, the only difference was the diapers. I'm very upset with this product! I would not reccomend
thought we would test these out.
Will purchase again.
About Me First Time Parent
We wanted to try a diaper that would keep rashes at bay. Granted, my son is very fair skinned which makes his sensitive to anything. Since he was born (he's nearing 6 weeks now), we used mostly Huggies Little Snugglers as well as some Pampers Swaddlers. He struggled with a small rash while using these. I honestly feel it partly related to my diet that was passing to him, as well as my desperate attempt to use natural methods of rash control aside from zinc oxide/chemicals. He never had an outrageous rash with the above mentioned brands, but when I used Earths Best Tendercare diapers, he didn't have any rash. I felt good about them being dye and fragrance free. Not as fancy, but that doesn't phase us. Plus they're going to save a few dollars. To be frank though, if his bottom had any moisture left on it, rash would be possible regardless of diaper brand. No blow out issues with our experience either. They do seem to run a little smaller compared to Huggies and Pampers however, but that didn't cause us any issues.
I would definitely recommend!
I have no complaints on these diapers! I see some moms say that the diapers leak for them... I think they need to change the diapers more often. RARELY did this diaper ever leak for my son and if it did it was my fault.
