This looks great and I had read all the negative reviews, so I knew what I was getting. Still, I was truly amazed at the poor quality. The holes were not drilled in nearly the right places. The screws were not long enough to fit through to the other side of the wood. I had to go to [...] and buy some that fit. The holes in the green tarp were not sized properly to fit with the wood railings. Complete and total disaster. Should have gone with the turtle. On the upside, my daughter LOVES LOVES LOVES it and she doesn't get sunburned in it!

i lost a part and called and Samantha was very helpful and shipped it right out. excellent service from exporter. kids love it and it looks great in the yard. i highly recommend to friends and families. it is small though just right for two.

for the expense of this product, it is totally not worth it.. what a let down...I thought that the green cover would be nice for shade but the thing is so flemsy... it has a great look to it but totally not stable especially for the price that you pay... it doesn't even have a bottom to it....should have just got a cheap plastic one.... at least I would have gotten my moneys worth out of it..it is already falling apart and we just put it up at the end of March.. Totally dissatisfied!

A month ago I bought this sandbox for my grandchildren - and they absolutely love it. This is my second one: 5 years ago I bought the other unit from Austria for my other grandchildren, but it was very hard to assemble and the plastic handle broke. I am much happier with an all wood product. Yes, we had a warped board but the importer send me a new board immediately. They explained to me that this is only a high quality pine and not an exotic hardwood, which I am very happy about. Hardwoods are too hard to regrow, pine is easy. I see some people say they have a problem with their roof, but you do need to make sure that both ropes are tight when the roof is all the way down this way you will have no problems raising or lowering the roof. Just adjust the knots at the end of the ropes.

This sandbox is just OK but I wish we had spent $10 and built our own. The roof to cover idea is neat but it doesn't really work. It is hard to crank up and down. We gave up and leave it open most of the time. The play area is small. It is just OK.

It's a nice sandbox, but it was pretty cheap. When I went to put the sandbox together, some of the boards were warped, and were bowed out of shape. Also, the pre-drilled holes weren't so "pre-drilled". I had to go back and redrill several of the holes to get the screws to go in. The directions weren't very specific and left some confusion one which screws went where. And finally, the top doll-rod was so fragile that it broke when I was trying to put it into the warped side-boards, so I had to go buy a new one...Very Frustrating!! It works fine now, but it wasn't worth the hassle of putting the cheap parts together!
