Each chair features ladder-back support and can safely holds a child over 100 pounds. This lovely set will turn any bedroom, playroom, or kitchen into a place where your children can safely play games, have a tea party and create arts & crafts projects. Made in Thailand, the table and chairs feature beech wood construction for durability and strength. The non-toxic stains bring out the rich grain of the beech wood. For cleaning, Lipper International recommends you wipe the pieces down with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately to avoid water damage on the wood. Use a mild soap on marks and stains.       The holes drilled for the screws are not large enough. You can only get them in part way, they then get stripped and won't come out either. You are then stuck after three hours with a useless pile of wood that cannot be put back in the box to return. This is the WORST experience I ever had with wood furniture. This item should be pulled off for sale.

        This set is extremely well-made, sturdy, and well worth the price. The shelves on the table are great for storage. The chairs support adults, which is nice. I am extremely happy with this set and highly recommend it. Assembly was also quick and easy.
