Each chair features ladder-back support and can safely holds a child over 100 pounds. This lovely set will turn any bedroom, playroom, or kitchen into a place where your children can safely play games, have a tea party and create arts & crafts projects. Made in Thailand, the table and chairs feature beech wood construction for durability and strength. The non-toxic stains bring out the rich grain of the beech wood. For cleaning, Lipper International recommends you wipe the pieces down with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately to avoid water damage on the wood. Use a mild soap on marks and stains. Purchased for 2 year old, table is too tall. Regardless we tried to put it together (thinking my son would be able to use it until he was older), but the screws provided "stripped" and wouldn't go all the way in. As a result, the legs on the table wobbled - we returned it.

This table is a great size and very functional. I love the look of it and the small shelves underneath. My son LOVES to sit at it, though he's 2 years old and it's a little big for him (but he will grow into it and it will last longer). The only problem I had with it was getting it assembled. I cannot get the screws to go in all the way and have had two others try to help. I've tried manually and with a drill and they are now to the point where they are stripped and I can't get them in or out, so they are sticking out half way. If you buy this product, keep that in mind when you assemble it and drill deeper into the pre-drilled holes so that the screws go in.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
