LATCH-equipped, stay-in-car base

The Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat comes with a LATCH-equipped base to make proper installation easier. It also features an integrated belt lock-off for easier seatbelt installation. The Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat attaches and detaches from the base, so you don't have to reinstall the base every time you take your baby out of the car. And the base is available separately, so transferring baby from your car to your spouse's car is a snap. Just purchase an extra base and install it in your spouse's car.


Easy-to-read level

The SnugRide Infant Car Seat features an easy-to-read built-in level to eliminate guesswork. Just turn the dial on the car seat base and check the color that is visible in the level window. When only blue is visible, the seat base is at the correct angle.


1-hand angle adjustment

You can easily adjust the angle of the base by turning a dial. The dial works in conjunction with the built-in level to help ensure that the base of the SnugRide Infant Car Seat is installed at the correct angle.

My daughter hates this carseat for some reason. She cries and cries whenever she's in it. Also, whenever we get to our destination, I find that her head has completely lolled forward or off to the side- there is no head support at all. Then again, I've never had a carseat before so maybe they're all like this? I bought it for its decent price and nice colors, but as far as functioning, its just very mediocre.

I have a 7 yr old, a 2 year old and now a newborn. I wanted a car seat that was light to carry, since I will be carrying this car seat while holding a toddler's hand. I am very happy with this product.

great car seat i got rear ended with my 8month baby and nothing happened to baby or the car seats its very safe.i have the macthing double stroller gets dirty very easy and yu have take it all apart to wash it. dont rec the stroller

I am so sorry that we purchased this car seat. There is absolutely NO head support. I had to sit in the back of the car for weeks so that I could hold my sons head in place.
Also, it's so awkward to carry around and the adjustable handle squeeks everytime you try to move it. It's a cheap car seat and I would never recommend it to anyone.

Overall this was a great car seat - we used it from birth to about 8 months old. My son slept well in it and it was very convenient to be able to carry him around in it (until he got too heavy!). It was also much easier to install than I expected.
In the beginning, my son was not even 6 pounds, and we did have to prop his head up in the seat, but it still worked just fine.
When he approached 18lbs, we stopped using it, only because it got too heavy to carry him in the seat and the convertible car seats are easier to get a child in and out.

I was very happy with this seat and will be using it for our 2nd.

This is a great infant car seat/carrier! It's very affordable and has fantastic safety ratings. Also, I used the Sterling for my son and my sister used Sterling for her daughter so the color is great for those who want to use it for future children. The only thing that is lacking is the plush material found on more expensive infant car seats. When it comes down to it, though, I want safety first and foremost.

We bought this car seat for our son. Upon taking it out of the box the car seat seemed a little cheap, however based upon reviews we decided to give it a try. Upon my husband putting the base in the car and tightening the seat belt on the base, the base collapsed and broke making the car seat unsafe. I would never place my son in this seat, it is cheap. We took the car seat back and purchased a Chicco Keyfit...well worth the extra $80 for safety. Graco quality has gone downhill.

i don't really have a problem with my baby sweating in this carseat because my husband blasts the a/c in the car and we have cold autumns/winters. he definitely still fits in it at 15lbs and 4.5 months. cons include unnecessary bulky car base and difficulty adjusting seatbelt. it was fairly easy to put together although i agree that the material isn't that nice. it does its job.
