I got to try Spot, the Zoomer puppy through a bzzAgent campaign for my 6 year old niece. She's not allowed to have pets because of allergies in the house. In the past, Ive gotten her many interactive toys and she treats them exactly as she would a real pet. Spot is no exception. She loves the game that came on it and she loves to teach her friends how to play it. She gets a kick out of the fact that it responds to her touch and does tricks and rolls over. Shes not disappointed that it doesn't walk like some of her other ones. I actually thought it did in the package but it doesn't bother us that it doesn't. She doesn't really go crazy over the music but my girl loves to sing to the radio and she adores music. This just doesn't tickle her fancy but it's not a deal breaker whatsoever. She has dropped it on the tile floor quite a few times and poor Spot has never broken or acted any differently. And I enjoy it because its not a loud annoying toy like some musical, talking ones can be. It keeps her engaged for a long time and she loves to bring it with her when she goes anywhere. The battery life isn't terrible in this and it only requires AAA batteries that we have only had to replace once. (Some of these toys are getting crazy with their weird battery needs!) Overall, I am very satisfied with the toy and Im sure my niece would say the same.

I just had the pleasure of reviewing a Zoomer Zuppies personal puppy named Spot for BzzAgent with my three children. It is one of the cutest things I've ever seen! From the moment that it arrived in the mail my kids were all over the box. They couldn't understand why they couldn't rip right into this new toy. I made them patiently wait to see if they would still be interested in it the next day. Sure enough I kept catching them trying to open it, reading the box, and ooing and aahing over it. So as far as the packaging goes, children will definitely be aching to get their hands on this cute little zuppy.

I usually find packaging on toys really hard to open. By the time I can get through all the plastic, screws and cardboard I'm so exhausted and have cuts and scrapes all over my hands. That's not the case with this packaging. I was able to get little Spot out of his box in about 2 minutes.

Before you can play with spot you have to make sure that you have 3 AAA batteries on hand and a small Phillips Screwdriver. Once you are set with the batteries you turn Spot onto his back and with a push of a button, he comes to life. Pretty simple right? Well that was definitely the easiest part!

Spot is supposed to target children ages 5+. 5 minutes into playing with it with each of my children made it clear to me that the age range of this toy should be lowered to ages 3+. My children's ages are an 8 year old who is a few days shy of her 9th birthday and my 6 year old twins.

So my 8 year old daughter, Arianna, started playing with Spot first. She fell in love with him in the beginning. She was petting him and cuddled with him. She was a little confused, as was I, on how to get him to play games and music. Once we had him figured out, she got bored fairly quickly. The music that was played was the kind that you hear from Fisher Price toys. The kind that annoy you and then annoy you even more after you can't stop humming along the tunes. Then when we got to the games, it kind of reminded me of the old games that I played when I owned a Nokia Phone. You know the one. The one where they had the Snake game. It just seems a little outdated. Arianna's favorite was the Fast Hands Game, which I have to admit was my favorite too. She was not too happy that Spot kept growling at her and looked angry.

Next up was my 6 year old daughter, Jaelyn. She was more intrigued by Spot. Her favorites were the interactive music part and the Higher Lower Game. She lasted a little more than 5 minutes.

The one I was pleasantly surprised with was Tristan, my 6 year old Autistic son. He is not a fan of dogs, loud toys or loud music. I really thought he wouldn't even come near Spot. He sat down and started playing with him right away. I was so proud of him and happy that he was able to enjoy Spot. He played with him for almost 10 minutes. His favorite game was the Fast Hands Game and he also enjoyed the music.

All in all, Zoomer Zuppies gets a 5 out of 10 from me. I really wish he was able to move like the Zoomer Robot Dog. The zuppies does not walk at all. It would also be a better toy if there was a volume control. I find Spot to be extremely loud, especially the music play. If this zuppy was targeted towards ages 3+ it would probably be an awesome toy.

The toy itself is adorable and appealing in its packaging. Once opened and turned on I wasn't as impressed. Before you can play with Spot you have to make sure that you have 3 AAA batteries on hand and a small Phillips Screwdriver. Once you are set with the batteries you turn Spot onto his back and with a push of a button, he comes to life. The kids had a lot of fun with the puppy at first. It was pretty neat with the sounds, games, and pixel eyes that follow you. Play mode is just that; head rubs and button pushing combinations to have Spot play with you. Activity mode reveals 6 different fun games for your child to play with Spot. Music, pixel smash, table tennis, higher/lower, fast hands and guard mode! We were under the impression it moved but it didn't. It's been less than a week and now they hardly play with it. All in all, Zoomer Zuppies gets a 5 out of 10 from me. I really wish he was able to move like the Zoomer Robot Dog. The zuppies do not walk at all. I received mine free from Bzzagent.com.

We where so excited to try out Spot the interactive puppy from Bzzagent! My daughter loved that she could interact with spot and play games with her! I am all for toys that can hold my daughter's attention. With her ADHD it is hard to find things that can entertain her for a more than 10 minutes! But this super fun interactive pup keeps her busy for hours. She looks for spot when she wakes up in the morning and when she gets in from school! This says a lot about a product to me. My daughter is size and this toy is good for her age range, I don't think that it would be good for children under 3. I wish that that it would walk on its own, but that is okay too!! We love Spot!! Thanks you Bzzagent!!

My kids were super excited when our Zoomer Zuppie Spot arrived. Thanks to #GotitFree and #BzzAgent!

My 6 year old got bored with him when she realized that she doesn't 'walk' without her having to manually roll him around.

My 3 year old LOVES spot. Dances around the room with him and likes to tell me when Spot is sad. He'll tell him to sit and stay too.

The bottom battery is rather hard to get in and out. One might want to invest in rechargable batties too. A volume control would be wonderful. after 10 minutes of the kids playing I have to leave the room.

Good toy. The interactive puppy is a fun toy with neat technology. It has cool games the kids enjoy. It is a little complicated for kids to switch between the games and the head tap sensor doesn't register the tap every time which can be frustrating for kids. But overall it is a fun creative toy.

I was excited when this little guy arrived in the mail for me and my kids to try out and review for Bzzagent ! As I opened the outer carton and took the box with Spot out my six year old daughter was trying to interact with him to no avail.
I figured that I would just need to switch him into the on position, no luck. Then I realized that this toy came sans batteries! Luckily for me I had three AAA batteries in the drawer. Moments later we began to play with Spot, it was difficult at first to switch game modes and it seemed to return to music mode as a default. There is no volume control and when it's playing "music" it's REALLY loud. The high low game and fast hands were our favorite. My fourteen year old said "that's it?" and was done within five minutes. We played with this toy for about twenty minutes or so and shut him off. He has been looked at, but not played with since. I'm happy to have received this as a product tester and glad I didn't purchase this myself, it is way overpriced and is now a dust collector. I'm wondering why no batteries? Perhaps if it was preloaded, it would be tested in store and once the initial excitement wore off it would be passed on for another purchase. This may be suitable for a child who is a bit younger then five.Maybe if it wagged its tail or did other dog like motions it would be more fun.

I thought a little robotic dog would be just the thing for him! it was little all right..dog fits in the palm of your hand, like a little teacup pomaranian..its cute an all, eyes light up, it barks, you can play games on it etc..but it doesn't walk, my son was like "mommy, why doesn't it walk?" it rolls..I am disappointed with that, its a robot dog, it should walk on its own...anyway, he became very bored with this toy after bout a few hours of playing with it, didn't hold his attention

We received this product as part of a Bzz Agent campaign. It looked really cute out of the box and my children were excited to try it out. You can get it to bark and also play a limited number of games. However, it did not move or walk. I think if it was able to do that, it could have held their attention much longer. All in all, I would not get this for anyone.
