I originally bought a b-safe infant car seat and a Bob revolution jogger. I got a great deal on the Bob and couldn't pass it up and thought I would get a lot of use out of it since we live at the beach and lots of walking trails here that are uneven. While I do love the Bob, its very large! I wanted something more practical for everyday running errands so decided to get a smaller stroller as well. I was between Britax and Baby Jogger strollers. While in store, I tried out the B-agile original because it was a bit cheaper than this B-agile 4 but I felt like the 3 wheel configuration made the front of the stroller stick out more and the fabric of the B-agile 4 is 100x better and seems to be much higher quality and much more padded than the original. The stroller altogether looks much more high end and seems more sturdy than the original. I love the all black wheels and the large zippered pocket on the back. I don't mind there is not a cup holder because I already bought an add-on for my Bob so I can just exchange it between strollers when I need to. The slate color is amazing and very gender neutral. I'm so pleased with this stroller and can't wait to get lots of use out of it!

I did a lot of research before getting this stroller. My main criteria were that the stroller is light and that it is easy to fold. I used it with the carseat (Römer carseat) until my baby was 4,5 months old. At that stage I had taken the stroller seat of completely. That made it very light and really compact when folded.

At around 5 month, my baby wanted to look around (rather than just at me), so I decided to put the stroller seat in and not use the carseat anymore. At that point my satisfaction with this stroller went down. My baby is on the tiny side (10th percentile), and the seat is just too big for her. She keeps on sliding down or to the side, even now at 11 months. The crotch part of the harness is really way down, so baby can slide quite a bit before getting to the harness. It is great for sleeping, as it is very roomy, but my baby looks very uncomfortable sitting in it. For this reason I pretty much stopped using it, and use a more compact stroller. I think I may use it again when she is 2 years old or so.

Other things I did not like:
It is not easy to lift front wheels to get on the curb, and it is hard to get up and down a step or two by balancing on its back wheels, like when going into shops and similar. This is due to large back wheels. I have to press my foot onto the back wheel to tilt the troller back sufficiently to lift front wheels. Also front wheels tent to get stuck even at the slightest obstacle (like a rope) and you must really push to get over it. The shape of the handle (single handle) made my wrists hurt after a while, not very ergonomic. The extension part of the sun shade is mesh (at least in the model I have, which is European model and might be different), which is really useless, as sun goes straight through it. The big pocket that attaches to the back (optional) makes it more difficult to fold the stroller and is really annoying as it flops out of the folded stroller. When folding the stroller you have to make sure that you front wheels are in the "forward movement" position, otherwise it will not fold all the way. It is one hand fold, but unfold takes two hands - one to press and open the lock, the other to unfold the stroller. Something you cannot do with baby in your arms.

What I like about it: While the storage below is not very large, you can hang tons of stuff onto the handle and it will NOT tip back! That is not the case with my other compact stroller. It really is light compared to similar strollers and has small footprint when folded. You could even fit it into the leg space of the back seat (we do that sometimes). Sturdy.

Comments about Britax B-Agile 4 Stroller - Slate Strie:

I was particularly interested in how this product compared with the BabyJogger City Mini 4. I needed two lightweight but full-featured 4-wheel strollers (one for the home, one to keep in the car or lend to grandparents), so I bought both the City Mini 4 and B-Agile 4 -- and now I can compare them for you.

As you may have read elsewhere, the products are very evenly matched. Some review sites have categorized these as "light-weight strollers", but let's be honest, nobody is going to confuse these with an umbrella. But they are light for their capacity (55-60 lbs). I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either one, so I'll point out some of the few differences that I have found so far.

          * PRICE - It was a tie at the time of purchase. The B-Agile was initially more expensive, but by the time I was ready to purchase, BRU had discounted the price so it was the same as the 2014 City Mini 4.

          * WEIGHT - B-Agile wins here. Specs show it as only one pound lighter than the City Mini, but it definitely feels lighter when carrying.

          * FOLDING - Both strollers use the same type of folding mechanism. It's easy to start folding, but finishing takes a bit of work -- you have to apply some effort to snap them closed. When folded, the City Mini is flatter but wider (it has a wider rear wheel track); the B-Agile folds narrower but thicker. Piling other items on top of the B-Agile (like in the trunk of your car) would probably flatten it though. In my experience, both can stand on their side when folded.

          * STYLE - Subjective. As of this writing, the B-Agile 4 is only available in grey/black color. It's conservative but classy IMO. My wife prefers the colors of the City Mini (we chose "Sand").

          * MATERIALS - The City Mini seat & canopy are a rugged but smooth nylon. The quality is good, but it may cause your baby to sweat in the warmer months. Cleaning is probably a snap (haven't needed to yet). The B-Agile 4 seat and canopy are a smooth polyester (I assume) that has a softer touch to the hand. It's a bit different than any other stroller I've had.

          * CANOPY - The "windows" on the City Mini's canopy are clear plastic with a flap that closes with velcro. Good for being usable in the rain (based on personal experience), bad for ventilation...and noise from the velcro, if that's a concern. The B-Agile has mesh "windows" with magnetic flaps. Good for ventilation and silent to use, but if it's drizzling then you can't keep your kid visible and dry at the same time.

          * MISC. - The City Mini has larger front wheels than the B-Agile. Both strollers are equally functional IMO. The basket sizes are comparable (fine but not spectacular). Both are VERY easy to push & steer. You can buy a "belly bar" for the City Mini, but NOT the B-Agile; front trays are available for both. The B-Agile comes with car seat adapter hardware, but we didn't need it.

In conclusion: As you can see, these products are very evenly matched. I had the "luxury" of needing two strollers, so I bought one of each. I will not be returning either one. Both seem very well-suited for their purposes. I do wish the B-Agile had a "belly bar" available, but my kid seems to be getting used to not having one. The B-Agile has a cool rear brake controller, but the City Mini's traditional foot brake is not hard to use.

If you were already interested in the B-Agile 4, then I can't think of any reason not to recommend it. It's light for its size & capacity, looks good and performs well. If you were on the fence with the City Mini 4 like I was, then the decision may not be as easy, but honestly you can't go wrong either way.

Comments about Britax B-Agile 4 Stroller - Slate Strie:

I purchased this instead of the agile 3 because I thought it steered better one handed. Wrangling 3 kids I need one hand free (holding hands of another kid while pushing the stroller) and this works great. I replacd a snap and go with this because the snap and go was hard to steer.with one hand.

          Light and compact!

Comments about Britax B-Agile 4 Stroller - Slate Strie:

I tried numerous umbrella and full sized strollers before I found this one! It's a full sized 4 wheel stroller, that is as light and compact as many of the umbrella strollers I've owned. I recommend it for sure! Since buying it, I've purged my Chicco Liteway Plus and HUGE Maclaren. Now I have no idea how it would fit a newborn, we came across this stroller when my son was already well over a year old, but the seat seems very roomy and has plenty of growing space.

                pros:
                curved wheel axel
very secure on the ground, no backwards tip issues
                large light weight wheels
                one handed fold
                very compact when folded
                less than 20 lb
                large seat
                soft stroller material, comfortable seat
colour is very gender neutral and not too babyish
                generous canopy

                cons:
                doesn't stand when folded

The B-Agile 4 does not include a parent and child tray, but very few strollers do nowadays. Many accessories are available for seperate purchase. It's still a good deal considering the car seat adapter is included, and can be pricey in other brands!

Great one hand control, love the color. Some extras on this are great like the large pocket for storage. Some cons are the storage basket is small and the seat does not sit up all the way, instead the highest setting has a incline.

I dont know why i didnt buy this stroller when i first saw it ! My son loves it ! The only down fall about this stroller is the basket underneath. Its difficult to get a small diaper bag in and out of it . Thats the only reason im giving it 4 stars

I originally got the 3 wheel b-agile, but kept it in the box because I was torn between a 3 wheel and 4 wheel stroller. I almost went for the BOB Motion one, but then saw this came out! So happy with this stroller, my only complaint is I wish the handle bars adjusted, but it's a good height for me.
