I find some of the other reviews interesting after my husband assembled our changing table. I agree that the ply wood top feels not as sturdy as I would like, but with the support bar in the center I think it will work just fine while our son is in diapers. The bottom shelf is the same ply wood with no support, so we just aren't planning to put heavy things on those shelves. Diapers and cream etc. should be just fine.
Just keep in mind this piece of furniture is under $300, and because of that I would have to say I am satisfied with the quality. If you are looking for something made of solid wood through and through, you should probably consider upping your price range to the $1000 mark or more per piece of furniture.
Also, my husband had no issues putting this together, he just had to decipher the instructions from the get go to make sure he understood the process.

This product was disappointing. I purchased our nursery furniture online in a hurry because we adopted a baby and needed a nursery FAST! I did research on the furniture and it did not live up to expectations. It is falling apart after being in the nursery ONE WEEK! I did not put this furniture together myself...I had a professional do it. It took him several hours, and it is flimsy, screws are breaking, knobs are falling off, and more! I wanted this to last until my child was at least school age......this is not the case! I am FORCED to buy new furniture, and my baby is not even one month old!!

Comments about DaVinci Parker 2-Door Changing Table - Coffee:

It's my baby's HAPPY PLACE for some reason she LOVES her changing table.
It's very comfortable for both of us.
Has tons of space to keep not only all the diapering items but also her bath items, and her toys and books.
I like to have a big stash of everything and this changing table is able to keep it all and keep it organized.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 2-Door Changing Table - Coffee:

At first I thought this changing table was not going to be too good. My husband put both the crib and matching dresser together no problem, but this was the last piece for our soon to be baby boy's furniture left and sure enough this caused him to get angry. In my opinion this was very difficult to put together. It took well over an hour and both of us to make it work. But in the end we got it together and to my surprise has lasted well over a year. The top part is very thin and I was worried about my son going through but a good tip is to buy another pad that is thicker and this helps a lot. I use the thin pad given as a travel diaper area in my truck which works great especially when a place has no changing area or is nasty.
I love the compartments inside, it's great to hold all your diapers and misc things you don't want little hands to reach. I just put one of those locks on the handles to keep it locked. Overall it's a great piece to grow with your child because when we are done using it as a changing station this top part is great to hold stuffed animals and other various items that are not too heavy.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 2-Door Changing Table - Coffee:

Product is cheaply made and came in scratched, along w/ the fact that the instruction manual was taped to the side and when removed took off the finish. Re-ordered only to find the same issue w/ the instruction manual ripping off the finish. I'm ashamed at Babies/Toys R Us customer service as well, I kept getting the run around from customer service to online customer service and after 3 hours found that all they could do was charge me for another and ship another. No WAY!!! 3 orders.... how much money did they want me to shell out before they sent me a good product! Not to mention 3hours x $25/hr = $75 worth of my time. Not worth it at all. If i didn't already have the matching crib set up and baby due in 1 week, I would have returned it all. I found a way around it by using the undamaged part of shipment 1, to replace the damaged part in shipment 2. Thank goodness there was 2 of the same parts, and for our thinking. Overall, We were more upset w/customer service and phone systems. We weren't even offered a discount.

Love this changing table, the only thing is, that when we recieved the changing table the color is not as dark as it shows in the picture. It has more redish tones in it. Our crib that we got was espresso so the color is a little different but we are still keeping it.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 2-Door Changing Table - Coffee:

I have purchased two of these changing tables for our church nursery. The first one gave me a little trouble putting together, but the second one was no problem. They both get a work out every week and have done great. I have had one for over a year and the other for about 3 months. We routinely change littles from 6 months through 3 years. Have not had a problem with the plywood top.

I love this changer because of the look and extra storage ability. We also have the matching crib. The coffee color is nice and dark - love it for our soon to be little boy's room. But a couple of things...1. The wood does dent easily - so be careful during assembly. 2. The quality is not the best and the instructions can be a bit challenging if you don't pay close attention. But you also have to realize this isn't real wood/high quality furniture people!3. I'm 8 months pregnant and put this together myself.4. I purchased this piece of furniture from [...]. The website had a sale on DaVinci furniture. Check it out!

I bought this along with the matching crib I love the way they look but I'm concerned about the safety of the product. the top of the changer where you place the baby is nothing more then a thin piece of particle board like the back liner that's held in by groves it says it can hold up to 30# but I highly doubt it. The instructions leave much to be desired to.

This product looks great and had positive reviews so my wife wanted one. I'm glad we got it (now that it's put together) but it was a pain, and the pre-drilled holes on the bottom piece were way off so I had to drill my own. Also, this requires two people to put together, otherwise you will go crazy. I've put together many things the last month and this almost ended my marriage (just kidding). Bottom line: Buy a 12 pack to entice your friend to come over and help you.
