This Little Tikes Picnic N Playhouse and climber combo can be set up in several configurations to keep the play exciting. The Little Tikes Picnic N Playhouse features a fold-down table for lunch inside the playhouse, or out on the patio with swivel seats for indoor or outdoor dining, working Dutch door and light, a climbing wall and slide. Requires 2 AA batteries that are not included. The Little Tikes Picnic N Playhouse measures in box are 55 H x 25 W x 25 D and weighs 101 lbs, out of the box dimensions are 50 H x 78.25 W x 52.50 D and weighs 75 lbs.

NOT SO HARD TO ASSEMBLE!!!

1. Snapping the slide and rock wall took my husband <1 minute. How is that you ask? Because he took the assembled part and layed it on its side. Then took the slide and used his 160 lb body and layed into it & it popped right in! NO SOAP NEEDED!!! He did the same thing to the climbing wall.

2. He used a drill for all the hardware which made it really simple!

3. When connecting the roof he pinched the 2 pieces together from underneath(meaning from inside the house) and screwed it together.

4. Use your brain and your body weight!!! Just cause the directions say to force it in like that doesn't mean you can't flip it or do it a SMARTER way!

It literally took my husband just under an hour to assemble. I know he's no Albert Einstein so it can't be as difficult as some of these reviews make it out to be. But if it was that difficult for them it CERTAINLY DOESN'T mean it will be that difficult for YOU!!! So my biggest suggestion to all of you who want to buy something and like to make your decision from the reviews, do so intellegently! Look for the durablity factors and thing like that and not what people say about assembly cause that's a personal aspect. Some people are better at that then others!!

I was so excited to get this for my son's 2nd birthday. After I first saw it put together, my jaw dropped! It was about a fourth of the size I pictured it! My son can't even slide down the slide because as soon as he tries, his feet hit the bottom. The little seats in it are so small he can barely fit his hiney on it. And he can hold on to the roof and climb up on that red bar - very dangerous. The recommended age is 3-5?? I don't think he'll even fit in it when he's 3. Luckily we have another baby who will get to play with it, but much earlier. If we had paid for it, I would have told my husband to take it apart and return it, but my parents bought it. Definetly not worth [$]. I gave it 2 stars because he does still play with it a little. I am just so disappointed :(

    My husband put this thing together in no time.We have 2 year old twins and its the perfect size for them.I think the slide is a little too small but it doesn't seem to bother my kids at all they climb and slide and have alot of fun.The picnic table is great and it can be pushed in outwards or inwards so that's pretty helpful.The light is really cute and my kids love to turn it on when it's getting dark.Overall is was a greatr buy.

    Construction of the item was very difficult. Liquid soap did help to put in the slide and climbing parts. Overall, it was a great buy. Our grand daughter loves the play house and everything about it. She is turning one, so I figured she can use this for a number of years before she gets too big. Just wished it was easier to put together. Also on a positive note, with Arizona's hot sun, the play ground equipment did not get hot to the touch, when sitting in direct sunlight.

        My son put this together in less than an hour . My 16 month old granddaughter thinks it is the best ...she has already conquered the ladder/and loves the outside light and the table and seats ! We love Little Tykes, a real quality product and will give years of useful play. Love it !

              bought this playhouse for my 2yr old granddaughter. She loves it, heads for it as soon as she is outside. The slide & the climbing steps are the hardest things to put together. It takes a lot of muscle, but once it was put together the rest of it went together pretty much as the instructions showed.

              We just moved to a new house and I got this play set so our daughter could have something outside to play with. Our daughter is 23 months old and love to go through the doors and slide down the slide. It even came with a phone which is a huge plus for my social bug! The down side for me is the slide is shorter than i excpected. My daughter has long legs and her legs touch the ground even before her but is halfway down the slide. Also my husband had some trouble putting it together b/c some of the pieces didn't match up. Other than that she is entertained by it and that's a huge plus!!

                I don't know if I just got a bad product but it was so hard to put together and I didn't think it was worth the money. I bought it to use indoors during the winter and thought I would take outside during the summer but I don't think I will ever get it back together if I take it apart. I had to screw in different spots just to get the roof to stay on.

                We bought this for indoor use as the weather is getting colder and our 17 month old will be stuck in the house. My husband was able to put the set together in about 2 hours. It is very sturdy and secure. We purchased this particular set because the slide, climber, and platform are relatively close to the ground which is appropriate for a child under 2. My daughter loves to go in and out of the house, and switch the seats from outdoor to indoor. The one thing we weren't impressed with was that some of the plastic pieces weren't molded correctly, so the doorway to the house isn't symmetrical and bows outward. It is just a cosmetic defect, so overall, we are very pleased with this product - and so is our daughter.
