Wonderworld uses only Water-based paint for our wooden toys so to minimize: child exposure to chemicals, a health factor use of underground fossil fuel, reducing CO2 emission, industry refinery reducing CO2 emission and chemical waste release to the environment. Wonderworld as a strong advocate of protecting the environment, insists on using only rubber-wood that is of replenishable source and widely accepted throughout the world as the environment-friendly material. Wonderworld strictly uses only non-toxic color and laquer constituent for all our products. This product was not inexpensive and it was a mess. Screws would not stay in, pegs would not hold. And on top of that I had to pay return shipping cost. Terrible construction.

This is a great workbench. Our 2 year old just got it for his birthday two weeks ago. Ages are 3+ but it is okay for a bit younger with close adult supervision. The tools are well designed and functional. Conceptually, the entire set is excellent for promoting hand/eye coordination, spatial orientation and cause/effect relationships. I wish there had been some more bolts and screws included. The 'nails' are a little lackluster as they only go into the holes in the bench, no use with any of the pieces. It would also have been nice if there was a mesh storage pouch that could attach to the bench to store the pieces when not in use.

I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday and love it. He has been trying to play with daddy's screwdrivers and hammers, so we wanted to get him a safer version to play with. This is well made, easy to put together and the perfect size for him. He has already had hours of fun hammering, screwing, using the wrench etc. I definitely recommend this product.
