For the price we paid [...]the bed is amazing. It was fairly simple to put together, no missing/broken parts, and it doesn't look like wood composite for the most part. The drawers have plastic tracks instead of metal, which I like because they are more quiet than your traditional drawer. Although the middle drawer doesn't close quite all the way, but I guess you wouldn't notice if you weren't looking for it. One of the things I don't like about the bed is that when the mattress is put on the bed, there is space between between the edge of the bed and the mattress. It's not alot, but it's enough to make me nervous about my 2 1/2 year old hitting it if he falls of the bed.Overall, I'm pleased with our purchase :)

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
