I researched this item through several reputable websites as well as magazines. This item was highly recommended. After purchasing this car seat, I could not be more happy! It holds my baby securely. Also, it is nice to have the detachable base (which convertible car seats did not seem to offer) so that I can remove the seat itself without waking my sleeping baby. Also, I love the 'shade' that can be adjusted to keep the light out of my baby's eyes. I highly recommend this seat!

Although the seat is safe, cute, and easy to clean, it is very heavy and since my baby is almost two months now, it's way too heavy to carry her around in this. Since it only fits with a stroller frame, the car seat will be unuseable once my baby passes the weight limit. If this seat had been part of a travel system, we would still be able to use the stroller as she grows. Now we are going to have to buy a stroller system in addition to this car seat, both of which are comparable in price. I would highly recommend that people just buy a stroller system! It will save them a lot of money in the end, they'll get more use out of it, and the car seat will be MUCH lighter so you can carry your little one around in it for longer.

Ended up returning the item because it was to much of a hassle to adjust the straps from the back. Would recommend a snugride with a front strap adjustment.

We bought a SnugRide because of it's positive reviews on safety, it's affordability, and it has easy accessibility in and out of the base. However, it does feel cheap, and sometimes the handle is hard to get down and up. Other than that, I do enjoy it!
The Brentwood pattern is attractive, and our son is comfortable in it.

we had purchased a snugride for our first child and it was great. so we bought anothe for our baby on the way! the cover is very easy to take off and wash if needed. the strap in the front to adjust is great its the one of the easiest out there and i know this because i have 2 check infant car seats before the infant can leave the hospital. hope this was helpful!
