      This is a great classic Seuss story. I am collecting signatures/notes from each of my kid's teachers (past and future) to present as a graduation gift (was inspired by a recent news article). Was able to buy TWO of these at BRUs for the price of ONE at big book retailer. Hard cover, has sparly inlay on the cover--very festive.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        My 4-year old son loves for me to read this book to him. He gets wonderfully lost in the cool illustration and seems to 'get' the point of the story on some level. I love the overall positive and uplifting message about the twists, turns, ups and downs of life. It's something children and adults of all ages can appreciate.
