the sounds and music are great, my son was obsessed with this when we were in the store. Literally had to drag him away from it and bought the toy! The mute button is also nice as it is fairly noisy. Like that it doesn't need a ton of batteries. The only thing, when you get it out of the box using screw driver and scissors, there is a yellow piece of plastic still screwed between the back two wheels that looks like it belongs there. It prevents the bulldozer from actually moving forward when the wheels spin. You can unscrew that piece of plastic and then it will move forward. The box doesn't say that you should do that, only that you should unscrew the others screws to get it out of the box. I would recommend the manufacturer to note that on the box. My son loves this and dog is afraid of it, haha!

This was a great gift. It vibrates as well as rolls. It kept my nephews attention for a long time.

My son got this and a couple of the others in the series for his first birthday. He loves the song it plays and really enjoys pushing hte button to get it to go. He enjoys pushing the truck manually but laso likes to see it rumble. My big objection is the little plastic man that comes with the truck does not stay put well but they are not important to my son so I really do not care that much.

The visual design is great, it's big and colorful and has a big red button that attracts kids immediately. Great for cause and effect except the concept is not fully realized since the "Forward Drive" is more like rumbling in neutral. Disappointing, the song is annoying and my almost 2 year old wants to push it everywhere but it is hard to move besides it's supposed to have forward drive, wheels just spin and no traction, wheels seem too small or not placed low enough and needs grooves in tires. Would be great if the loader moved up and down, either manually or battery operated. The little driver does snap into or over the push button so its hard to keep him in the seat, my son just pushes the button. Overall a 2 - 2.5, movement was important to me because the little ones usually follow it around, he gave up trying to move it after awhile.

We discovered this toy at a friend's birthday party and I was compelled to buy it. Both of my boys (5 years and 14 months) find this toy entertaining. The big red button is easy enough to see and push for the baby, and the cause and effect is definitely educational. The figurine is a little difficult to push onto the seat and the music is a little annoying after 5 or 6 rounds, but the kids love it!
