      How you use the product: I use this product when I'm out with my child and he gets bored.

      Things that are great about it: I like the bright colors and it is made with quality hard plastic. These keys are more realistic than other toys keys and when you push the buttons a different color lights up for each button and the sounds are loud and clear.

      Things that aren't so great about it: Someone else mentioned this in their review and I agree, one of the buttons is a horn honking and a women yells nastily, "Move!" which isn't very polite and hopefully my child doesn't learn this behavior from it but other than that these keys are great, hence, the 4 out of 5 stars.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        My son likes to use these keys to "start" his Cozy Coupe Car. He likes to pretend to lock and unlock the cabinets. There really isn't anything Spectacular about this item, its pretty plain jane, but they are durable.

        I bought these to keep in my handbag for my 17 mo. old because he'd set of my car's panic alarm with the real keys one too many times. He's a very tactile kid, so while he's not fussy, he likes to be busy touching stuff while we're waiting (post office, stores, etc.) For the price and size (although they're a little bulkier than they should be), these are a great substitute for real keys. The idea that they're for 18 mo. and up is kind of a joke - there's no skill involved beyond pressing the buttons. I do have one small issue with this toy, though - each button makes a sound and says a phrase, but there's one with a car horn beeping and an angry-sounding woman who yells, "Move!" Fine if you want to teach your kid road rage, but it's not the kind of courteous language I had in mind...

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
