These signs are great! I bought 2 last year and bought 2 more this year. They are highly visible in day and night. It gives added piece of mind when my children are riding their bikes,scooters and skateboards on our street. I place them on both ends of the street to give an early alert to motorist.

I seen this while shopping for Christmas and had to give it a try. We live on a residential street that has a lot of speeding cars. Having four children with the cousins and friends, I was always worried. I noticed an instant difference when I put this sign at the end of the driveway! As cars approached they seen the sign and slowed down and looked around for children. Not all drivers are safe though and either don't notice signs or don't care. I put it on top of the mailbox sometimes too. I only put it out when the children are playing so that the same drivers know it's factual. I've had mine for five years now and is still in great shape...no fading or falling apart. The only thing I would change on it is the word "kid" should be bigger and also have a locking device even though it has only fallen down a few times.

I ordered two and had both up while playing outside with the kids. This product does not hold up if it's breezy outside. The signs kept on tipping over, it was really annoying. I will be returning them.

We use the safety sign at the end of our culdesac to slow down drivers when our kids are out playing. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and they are correct in the fact that the sign is too lightweight to stand on it's own. It is easily blown over in the wind. However, a bag of rocks or dirt tied to the handle and hung between the board works great! It hasn't fallen over once. It is much cheaper to do this than to buy one of the more expensive boards. Highly recommended!

highly visible plastic but does not have a center support to keep the uprights apart and EASILY tips over. I ended up making a board that slips in between the two upright pieces to keep them from collapsing and to add much needed weight otherwise without it sign was USELESS as it would fall every 2 minutes. its a good value IF you can figure out how to keep it upright. If you are not handy pay a bit more for one that has a bracket that keeps the uprights from closing.

bought 3 and it took me 30 minutes to cut some MDF boards to size, downside is they don't lay flat after the modification but now with the added stability they don't tip over when a car drives by.

I read the reviews on this sign before purchasing it, and saw that the major complaint people had was that it is lightweight and therefore tips over easily. I read one reviewer who said they weighted it down with a bag of rocks and it worked like a charm. Considering that this sign is half the price of the other one I was considering, I decided to give it a try. Put a few rocks in a small plastic grocery-type bag, hung it down in between the two sides of the sign, and tied the handles of the bag together on the top of the sign. Put it out front on this somewhat windy day, and it hasn't budged. Works great, and still light weight enough for the kids to haul in and out by themselves if need be. I recommend it!

Good price, but product doesn't open very far, and no middle peice to help keep it open, falls over easily. other than that the signs are very helpful.

This sign has been great! I have had several people stop and ask where I got the sign from. I read all of the reviews before I bought it too I was a little weary because the biggest complaint was that it was a bit light weight and couldn't handle the wind. Well I just tied a bag of rocks around the handle and haven't had any problems. I prefered to do that so I could spend $20 and get two rather than $20 on just one of the more heaveier signs. But that is just me.
