This toy is great in concept. I had one as a child & kids still love playing with them. They are simple yet create hours of fun. I got this for my 18M old for Christmas and was disappointed that the pegs fall right through the holes. There is 1 hole that holds the peg tight enough for him to hammer 3 times for it to go through. The others are so loose he just pushes them through with his tiny hands. No hammering needed at all. The point of this toy is to hammer. Very disappointed.

Gift for 2 year old. It came during the Christmas rush and I was very happy to receive it before Christmas as it waa a last minute order. It is just what a 2 year old needs and allows a lot of interaction and espression without worrying about plug outlets or someone's Ipad. Happy you still carry it. Thank you for making a good Christmas for me and the two year old.

Bought this for my grandson. Right out of the package the pegs fell right out. There was NO need to pound them. I went to my local hardware store and bought a dowell rod, replaced the pegs and colored the ends with coloured markers. Not worth the money especially since I spent as much for the dowell rod as I did for the whole thing.

Could have been a very great toy as my two year old grandson loves to pound..These pegs were so loose he could easily push them through with his fingers...One wouldn't even stay up when placed in the rack...Would have returned but return postage would have cost almost as much as the toy..Very disappointed..Goes to Good Will next trip..

The pegs were so loose that it only took one pound of the hammer to get it through. Many times the pegs fell out by themselves, they were so loose.

My son received this as a gift when he was 10 months old (now 13 months) and it INSTANTLY became a favorite. He LOVES pushing the pegs down with his fingers or the hammer and also likes taking the pegs out and sticking them back in which has helped his hand/eye coordination. He'll sit with this for 20 minutes EASILY. I only gave it 4 stars because within a week both of the ends of the bench fell off. It was an easy fix with some wood glue, but still shouldn't have happened. Also, I wish the pegs were a little more difficult to get through the holes, but that's my opinion, my son doesn't seem to mind at all.
