Great book for teaching colors. I gave a 4 only because my son doesn't use his tag with it. If I sit there and go through the book with him he will pay attention, but with the tag he just tosses the book to the side.

This book is very very simple and minimalistic. It barely has any content. For each of 6 colors, there is one page that has the name of the color on it and one page with Curious George and 5 or so items in that color. The narrator says 2 things about each item, and George makes a different sound for each color. And the last page has all the colors and a color song. That's it. That's all there is to this book. Yet it is my daughter's favorite tag book.
It was her favorite at 18 months when she didn't know her colors or who curious George is, and it is still her favorite now that she is 3 and a half and a big George fan. We have close to 20 tag books and about 10 tag Jr. books, and she picks this one almost every single time she picks a tag book. Once for 3 weeks straight this was the book she wanted at bed time. I don't get it, and I am bored with this book. Then again, they didn't make it for adults.

Picture Book - Not enough words for 3yr old

While this book is very colorful, it is more of a picture book. There are not enough words for a 3 year old. Would be good for a 2 yr old. And unfortunately, we did not know this until after my son ripped open the original packaging so we can not return.

My daughter loves this book and uses most of the time in the house when she wants to use it she just asks me for it! It teaches some colors and it also show things of the color and it makes noises and its just fun for the child!! My daughter repeats everything and it helps them Identify things with the color!

From a parent's perspective, this Curious George book is great for little ones just learning to talk. My 22 month old daughter enjoys this book and repeats the words after Tag says them. It's interactive fun and she doesn't know she's learning in the process! She already knows all of her colors!
