The Bergamo Pecan Americana Lifetime Crib is easy to assemble and a great beginning to the Americana Collection. The Lifetime Crib can truly last the lifetime of your child. After the child has outgrown the crib it converts to a daybed, then to a full size head board, or a full size head board with a foot board. The great classic styling and natural finish provides years of use. Constructed from Rubber wood, birch veneer, and MDF means this crib will truly last a lifetime.

we only used this product as a crib, and not as a day bed/toddler bed. there isn't anything wrong with it, but we wanted to go a different direction with our decor. the height adjustments for growing baby were perfect, the frame is amazingly sturdy and easy to assemble. it held up well for almost 3 years of use, and still looks brand new. the only thing i didn't like so much where the wide corners of teh crib which made it hard to tie our bumper guard, but again that could've just been the bumper we chose.

I had this crib when it was Jardine Americana and was pretty pleased w/ how sturdy it was. It's pretty easy to put together too. Much better than the Americana changing table was which fell apart.
One problem though was my son chewed a HUGE chunk off of it. So it's very soft. I would've used a plastic cover but it was on the side and literally you could see the black inside where the wood was.

I would've still had this product but it was recalled under Jardine and it looks like Bergamo is making the SAME exact product just a different company. Take a look at the 2 pics and decide from yourself if it's worth the risk. It's probably up to standards now, but b/c it's the same exact design I'm not taking any chances w/ this product.
