Product Description

There are times when your child's diet may not be giving him everything he needs. Enfamil Poly-Vi-Sol with Iron is the ideal vitamin supplement.

Founded over 100 years ago by Edward Mead Johnson, one of the original founders of Johnson and Johnson, the Mead Johnson company produces more than 70 different products that are distributed in over 50 countries worldwide. Mead Johnson produces baby formula, vitamin and specialty nutritional supplements including Enfamil. Introduced in 1959, Enfamil baby formula has undergone several significant changes since it was invented. Each change brings Enfamil baby formula nutritionally closer to breast milk.

Edward Mead founded Mead Johnson because he wanted to make products to help people live healthier lives. After much research, Edward Mead and his son Lambert discovered a way to manufacture nutrient-rich baby food formula for infants who didnt have access to breast milk. This eventually became Enfamil baby formula.

Mead Johnson's global operations center and U.S. regional office is located in Evansville, Indiana.

My 3 yr old is autistic and has a limited diet due to her severe sensory issues. I mix this in her morning milk. She doesn't taste a difference and I feel so much better about her getting the nutrients her body needs to grow. I've actually used this since she was an infant. I'm hoping Enfamil will go back to the dropper as the syringe is not convenient. I understand always trying new things to improve and some things do not work out well. This syringe is 1 of them.

My toddler takes this easily which I appreciate since he is a very picky eater. However, I went to buy a new bottle today and noticed that it contains carmel colour. Needless to say I did not buy a new bottle and will no longer buy this product. It is completely unnecessary to add artificial colouring to a baby/toddler multi-vit.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil Poly Vi Sol with Iron Drops:

I started giving this to my daughter at 1 year. I watch what she eats and noticed almost nothing has any appreciable amount of Iron. I mix it with her milk and she doesn't seem to notice the taste. Never tried straight like others. It does smell bad.
It used to have a cap dropper. Now it has an included syringe. Its not as convenient. Its also messy as you now have a dirty syringe to rince each time. I am also in the medical profession.

Why the change to the syringe???

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil Poly Vi Sol with Iron Drops:

It's a great product but since they changed to the "easy to use" syringe it is much more annoying and difficult to use than the dropper top cap. This was a bad idea on the manufacturers part.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil Poly Vi Sol with Iron Drops:

I don't see what the big deal is about the syringe. I have no problem at all with it. I've never used their dropper before because every box i ever bought only came with the syringe but i find it to be a piece of cake. I mix it in with my sons food and he eats it all up no problem.

I have to use this product with my babies, as doctor prescribed it. Every time I use the syringe I hate it, the dropper was 10x better. Therefore, this product has become 10x worse due to poor usability.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil Poly Vi Sol with Iron Drops:

Really Enfamil???? New "easy to use syringe"? What's easy about a secondary component that not only is more difficult to dispense with, but also adds more clutter to an already overwhelming countertop/cabinet. Anyone who has an infant at home already has 4000 bottles, brushes, cleaners, tubes, bottles, syringes, etc laying around their kitchen/bathroom- did you really have to add one more item to the chaos? The dropper was perfect and self-contained. Why would anyone want to clean out a syringe every day??? Don't moms have to clean enough stuff? Don't fix what isn't broken. Thank goodness I have some old droppers laying around, so when I buy a new bottle of Polyvisol, I can just swap out the components.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil Poly Vi Sol with Iron Drops:

I have been happily mixing this product into my children's morning juice for four years with no complaint from them. It has given me assurance that they are getting the vitamins they need even if they won't always eat the nutritious food I give them. My only complaint is the new syringe. I hate it and here's why:. I could administer the vitamin using the old squeeze syringe with just one hand, I'm usually holding a child while preparing their morning juice. The old syringe popped back into the bottle as the cap, no mess. This new syringe needs to be washed, put away and then found again for the next use. I tried keeping it in the box it came in but it got wet. It's so annoying I am going to look for another product. Ease of use is terrible. Very disappointed.
