Product Description

There are times when your child's diet may not be giving him everything he needs. Enfamil Poly-Vi-Sol with Iron is the ideal vitamin supplement.

Founded over 100 years ago by Edward Mead Johnson, one of the original founders of Johnson and Johnson, the Mead Johnson company produces more than 70 different products that are distributed in over 50 countries worldwide. Mead Johnson produces baby formula, vitamin and specialty nutritional supplements including Enfamil. Introduced in 1959, Enfamil baby formula has undergone several significant changes since it was invented. Each change brings Enfamil baby formula nutritionally closer to breast milk.

Edward Mead founded Mead Johnson because he wanted to make products to help people live healthier lives. After much research, Edward Mead and his son Lambert discovered a way to manufacture nutrient-rich baby food formula for infants who didnt have access to breast milk. This eventually became Enfamil baby formula.

Mead Johnson's global operations center and U.S. regional office is located in Evansville, Indiana.

My 3 yr old is autistic and has a limited diet due to her severe sensory issues. I mix this in her morning milk. She doesn't taste a difference and I feel so much better about her getting the nutrients her body needs to grow. I've actually used this since she was an infant. I'm hoping Enfamil will go back to the dropper as the syringe is not convenient. I understand always trying new things to improve and some things do not work out well. This syringe is 1 of them.

My toddler takes this easily which I appreciate since he is a very picky eater. However, I went to buy a new bottle today and noticed that it contains carmel colour. Needless to say I did not buy a new bottle and will no longer buy this product. It is completely unnecessary to add artificial colouring to a baby/toddler multi-vit.

Why caramel color added?

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil Poly Vi Sol with Iron Drops:

What is the ppm of the caramel color used in the preparation of your products? There has been concern of 4-methylimidazole being carcinogenic or causing side effects at higher levels.

Oh, and the dropper was a much better way to administer the product. I understand the syringe may be more accurate, but with some practice most people can get pretty accurate with the dropper and it was significantly more convenient. If you're going to stay with the syringe, at least put a stopper in the top so that you can insert the syringe and measure out the proper dose (similar to liquid medicines).

Good product that gives 100% DV Vitamin D and Iron for breastfed babies. I can tell my baby doesn't like the taste but she still swallows it. The smell is pretty overwhelming and it would be nice if Enfamil would find a way to alter the flavor slightly to increase acceptance.

The syringe was a horrible idea, completely inconvenient. Please bring back an option for the dropper and then you will see how bad of an idea the syringe was. Makes our lives 3x harder to use this product. We've kept our original bottle with dropper because of this reason and I'm sure that's not the best idea since it's quite old now. Enfamil is leaving their customers out to dry since there is no more possiblilies to buy the old ones with droppers. Please help!

Syringe dispenser is awful! Horrible change :(

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil Poly Vi Sol with Iron Drops:

We've used Enfamil Poly-Vi-Sol ever since our child graduated from D-Vi-Sol. It tastes horrible, but I don't think there's much the company can do about that - iron will taste awful no matter what, and the kids need it.

My real issue is the switch from a dropper to a syringe for dispensing. The syringe is unbelievably inconvenient. The dropper screwed onto the top of the bottle cap, so it was easy to keep them together and keep the dropper clean. The syringe fails on both of those - it gets separated easily since there's no way built-in way to keep it with the bottle and is cheaply made, so it falls over, gets dirty, and needs to be washed often. The syringe is so thin it's hard to handle, even for someone with small hands, and it's easy to pull the plunger out and have to start over.

Basically, it's clear Enfamil cheaped out on the switch from dropper to syringe. According to all the previous responses the company was "solving" a problem of difficult dosing. I never had that problem with the dropper, and Enfamil has actually taken a fine product and made it excessively frustrating to use. I'm tired of all the small inconveniences the syringe causes, and the next time we need a multi-vitamin I'll work to avoid the problem on the front end and find another brand in the store that offers the convenience of a dropper.

I love how this product does not contain artificial sweeteners. There's already too much sweetness in our food and drinks. My son does not like the taste but he still consume it. I don't even try to mask it I just shoot it in his mouth and he takes it quick. The i either give him a bite of his food or some juice.

My son stands up and opens his mouth for his vitamins! We give them to him in his bath usually, because it does stain and sometimes a little gets out. But, he likes it. We are giving it to him on our doctor's recommendation because despite being a good eater, was a little low on iron at 9 months. He's almost 13 months now and likes his vitamins.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil Poly Vi Sol with Iron Drops:

My 11 month infant became anemic after a bad virus. He takes medicine with not problem. But I fought with him for weeks to take this. All of our clithes event are ruined and now he cringes when he sees a medicine dropper because the taste is so bad. This is unacceptable in a day in age when everything on the market tastes great and they can't make a product needed, better tasting
