What's different about this??? NOTHING! Same as what you get when you order bedding...nothing special to it. Forget the HYPE...that's what that is...alot of hype! Baby is able to step on it and stick his/her legs through the bars...so its just a regular bumper sold with alot of hype. Get the cheaper versions cause there isn't a difference...trust me.

We bought this bumper when the pediatrician told us to get rid of the padded bumper (so the baby couldn't step on it to climb out), but we still needed something to keep the pacifiers from falling out of the crib. For the next kid, we're going to skip the padded bumper and go straight to this one.

I saw other people's comments about wishing this bumper came in cute patterns. Maybe the manufacturers saw those comments too because I saw some striped bumpers with this same name. But I was shopping online and, in the pictures, the striped bumpers looked more solid (less meshy), so I didn't dare order one of those. Maybe someone could comment on whether those striped ones are really the same as the solid ones because they were cuter!

I wish SO bad that I would have skipped the whole crib set nonsense and just bought one of these with matching accessories. We started out with the typical set that had a pillow-like bumper. I walked in on my son one night and nearly fainted when I saw his face was pressed into the bumper and he didn't move at first when I moved him. That was all it took for me to switch to one of these. He is 8 months old and I wish I would have bought one of these as soon as he could move around in the crib. I would have slept much better knowing that he wasn't in danger of suffocating. I didn't even realize these existed until that scare with my son and I started researching alternatives to bumpers. This bumper is great. It fits my crib great and has just enough padding that I don't worry about him banging into the crib at night. I have no idea why people would give this negative reviews. The only negative thing I can say is that, since my son is so active and playful, he gets his hands and feet up over the top and pulls it down and I have to pull it back up in place. But I don't mind such a minor inconvenience. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!

Love these. WE got rid of our old bumpers, because my son used to bury his head in them and they would never stay up. These are great because they stay up, I feel more secure with the breathable holes, and my son cannot climb up them. I should have bought them from the beginning.

The bumpers are great for my twins' cribs (they are 6 months). They help keep the pacifiers in the bed, and now that they are rolling, it helps keep arms and legs in too. However, both of them have found the ribbons (used to tie the bumpers to the rails) and untied and had them in their mouths. I do have them tied facing out of the crib. Overall, they are working for us!

I needed a breathable bumper since my son who is now 6 months old loves to bury his face in blankets and the side of the bassinet. So I purchased one that came in 4 pieces and had some padding to it. Well as I was adjusting the bumper the batting started coming out in small pieces but enough that if my son played with it he could choke. I went back and forth between this one and the other one. Well I never put my son in the crib with the other one I just had a weird feeling and went back to the store and got this one. I should have gotten this all along. This is great! I only wish it had just a little more padding but it is wonderful. That is why it only got 4 stars. My main concern is the fact my son would get his feet stuck in the rails and that if he did shove his face in the bumper he could breathe. I recommend this to anyone. Just wish I had it when my daughter was a baby 3 yrs ago. It was so easy t put on took me 10 minutes and that was with my son in the crib 'helping' me. All in all go with your gut I should have and would have saved myself a trip back to the store since the nearest BRU is like 30 min away. Well worth the [$]

These bumpers come in 2 pieces and velcro to themself. They stay in place way better than cloth bumpers that tie. The light is not blocked as well, but the mesh is breathable and still padded. Which is good because my son likes to sleep with his head against the top bars.

Love this bumper - I had another one first, and I was always concerned b/c my baby would put his face next to the bumper when he slept, then he started to put his feet through the crib slabs. Now with this bumper he can't put his feet through, and I know he's breething easy with the mesh bumper, and I love the fact that when he starts to stand up, this bumper prevents climbing :) AMAZING!!!! PERFECT BUMPER!!!
