We haven't even had a chance to try this product. We had it shipped to us and found grease stains on it upon opening the package. I thought perhaps we were sent a returned item. We brought it to the store and switched it out. Came home, and found that the new item was also stained with grease. Babies R Us has offered to replace it again. There must be a problem with the manufacturing process where oil from the machines are getting on to the product.

We will give the product another try since there don't seem to be many options for breathable bumpers or liners.

I suggest inspecting this product before leaving the store (or in the parking lot) so you don't have to waste time going back and forth.

I was really excited to receieve this in the mail today, however, the instructions that come in the package are so ridiculous to try and follow. It is taking my husband and I both attempting to put this on, and it's just not happening. I finally looked on y o u t u b e and saw their instructional video. These instructions were more clear, and easier to follow along with.

Please be advised, this does NOT correctly fit all cribs. I have a simmons slumber time crib, where the middle of the back of the crib is solid, but not all of it. I will include photos of my daughter's crib withOUT the bumpers to give a better example.....

This was such a nightmare, and it doesn't look like it should, because of the solid back part, it kind of poofs out.....but I really have no other choice for breathable bumpers... Still not sure if I will return this or not....

Also, wearing your wedding bands, or engagement ring is out of the question. my ring snagged on this like no Other!!!! Prepare for a complete headache if you don't have the two or three styles that they have directions for.

This bummer is ideal for keeping your baby safe.

It may be a fuss to put on at first but it works like advertised. Bonus, I don't worry about my baby suffocating or getting her legs/arms caught in the crib. I recommend this to everyone who is expecting.

We bought this for our daughter when she was about 5 months old. She started moving around alot in her sleep and she loved to ball herself up in the corner of her crib. I had a hard time sleeping at night knowing she liked to put her face curled into the bumber which was a big plush one we got with her bedding set. But I didnt want to not have any bumper for fear of her getting her arms and legs caught in them. So when we found this, it was the PERFECT fit! She could curl up wherever and breathe right through the bumper! Comfortable for her and worry free for me! We just now put one in our sons crib too! I always reccomend these for new parents!

This product is a great idea in theory but really does not work well at all! My #1 complaint is that it does NOT fit all cribs!!! We have a sleigh crib for our daughter and this does not work well to protect her from hitting her head on the entire wood panel! IT also leaves 2 bars open on each corner that my baby has hit her head on several times AND the velcro with no ties make it very easy for baby to pull down, so basically it does nothing it's supposed to. In addition, the instructions are pretty much non-existent - pain in the butt to install.

So far this bumper is working just how I thought it would. My daughter is 4 months old and we are just making the transition to the crib. She is very active so we definitely needed some sort of bumper, but I didn't want the worry of the traditional bumper. I have watched her moving around in the crib and a few times without the bumper she definitely would have had her foot caught between the crib slats. We have a crib with slats all the way around, but there are wider, solid wood pieces in the center of all 4 sides. This made using the bumper a little more challenging, but it still fits and I have piece of mind! We got it in pink and it looks very nice with the rest of her bedding.

This works really well at preventing my daughter from getting her legs stuck between the slats of her crib. It also keeps the passie in the crib (she used to throw it on the floor). I had no problem making it tight, as others did. I have the Da Vinci Emily crib and it fits perfectly. I also toss it in the washer and dryer and it's held up well.

I just got this a few days ago for my 11wk old daughter because she always had a arm or leg out of her crib. I really love it it works great an I dont worry about her having her face up agains it. It was easy to put on her standard crib an fits great:)

I got these for my daughter after her dr wanted her to sleep on her stomach due to reflux issues. We put them on and there are gaps and loose areas. They don't really fit tight. My daughter as she got older was able to pull them off and often got her limbs stuck between the bars because these were so loose she could stick her arm/leg out and they would just fold and her leg would go under the bumper. We ended up buying wonder breathable bumpers and are very happy with those. These overall were penny wise and dollar foolish.
