So I recently just bought the whole line of Guardians of the Galaxy sets because I'm really pumped for the movie. And I do have to say, this set is definitely not a let down and it is unique and amazing. First I'm going to talk about the mini figures and than I'll move on to the ships themselves. Minifgures: Star Lord - This version of Star Lord is exclusive to this set because of its print. There's another Star Lord in the $20 set but the print on the torso and legs are different. This variation of Star Lord is very cool. His legs are exactly the same as Drax and Gamora's legs with the red suit-like style. He's waring a red jacket that has a lot of detail on it. His face printing doesn't resemble Chris Pratt's face which didn't bother me that much. HE also includes a weird little robot thing that looks like something that helps defend him I believe. It's a nice little mini build. Gamora - Gamora is exclusive to this Summer wave of mini figures. She has a green face and nice hair with pink highlights. Her torso resembles a similar jacket to Star Lords just more fit for a woman. Drax - I wasn't too into the Drax figure because the colors on him didn't resemble the one in the film that much, but he is a very well done figure. His torso and arms have really well made red tattoos with a whole lot of detail. His dace is pretty plain with only 1 side face with a pit of red on it. Ronan - Ronan I believe is the main villain in the movie (don't get me wrong because I haven't seen it) and he's a interesting figure. He doesn't look like a very evil figure more like a Star Wars alien thing. He has place and grey pants, black and grey torso, blue hands, a blue face , a interesting grey helmet, and a nice black cape. He includes the silver orb and a hammer, weapon type thing. Sakaaran - There are 1 Sakaaran in every Guardians of the Galaxy set so he is the only non-exclusive figure. I really like the Sakaaran though they are so cool! He has a halo type fun and grey pants, a cool torso, a black cape helmet, and a very menacing and cool looking face. Main Builds: Necrocraft - I have mixed feelings about this mini ship for the bad guys. It looks kind of sloppy but pretty cool. Maybe thats what it's supposed to look like in the film. It has a nice cockpit with a window with very cool red stickers. It has two of those easy blasters that you just touch a bit and they shoot. Its a very great build, definitely weird, but it's a nice little addition to the set. Milano Spaceship - This spaceship, to be honest with you, is one of the most unique spaceships LEGO has ever built. In Star Wars, we get a lot of spaceships but they all look a bit too similar. Spaceships that look like this are what we want because they're different and unique. It's a lot bigger in width than I thought it would be. The ship isn't long at all, but its very wide. It has that type of bird look and resembles a lot to the pictures I have seen from the movie. The ship is so satisfying in the set it completes it and satisfies you. IT is very well detailed and overall epic. Inside the ship there is a reclining chair for Star Lord that has two holders for his blasters. You can fit knives andy other guns in the holders too, but not swords because they are too tall. There are also two more seats for Gamora and Drax. It's a tight fit but still very cool. There is also one more seat which is meant for Rocket Racoon, who is not in this set. He's in another set so if you buy the $40 set, you can put Rocket in the seat. In fronton the seat is a giant boom box that plays the,"Hooked on a Feeling' song. Its a nice mini build and you can remove it from the ship. The overall outside of the ship is so cool. In the back, there are so many wings. They just went crazy on the detail in the back. There are many flaps and turning things that it just gives the ship a name for being a spaceship. The front has a bird like face which is unique and very well done using blue and yellow pieces. When looking from the top the ship looks very wide and huge. Underneath there is a lot of detail too giving it a really great spaceship look. It includes gun blasters and flick fire missiles. Overall, the ship is a absolute masterpiece. Conclusion: Overall the set is satisfying, it's organic, its special. I definitely recommend it to all Marvel fans because this movie looks very cool, like the next Advengers. So go out and by this awesome thing. Hope you enjoyed my review and have fun building! (10/10)

Amazing Spaceship from the Best Marvel Movie

    By The1080pPotato

    from Denver

Comments about LEGO Super Heroes The Milano Spaceship Rescue (76021):

The Milano is amazing. Not just because I got a great deal on it, but because it's one of the best Lego sets I have ever purchased. Minifigures- The Sakaaran is amazingly detailed, he is in all of the other sets so I won't say anything about him, but I only wish there were two of them as I have a terrifying army of only three of them 3/5 Star Lord is the same as in the $20 dollar set but he has the nicely detailed Guardian uniform on. His helmet is also the same and he comes with a hair piece. So if you want this set for the helmet you can get it for $20 in the smaller set. (Which is also a great set) 3/5 Gamora is an exclusive to this set and comes with some very nice highlights in her hair. She has there Guardian Uniform, but it is made to be more fitting for a lady. Ex- the black spots suggesting her body is slim. 4/5 Drax is also an exclusive and is probably the most detailed fig in the set, his tatoos look just like in the film but with a few exceptions. The skulls on his chest are lego skeleton heads. 5/5 Ronan was the figure that I was looking the most forward to in this set. And he does not disappoint. The new hat piece is amazing and could be used for a custom Sith, the designers weren't lazy as usual, and actually gave him back printing, even though he has a cape! 6/5 Yes I'm serious I love this figure this much. Sakaaran Ship - In the photos this thing looked disappointing, and sadly the photos didn't lie. Some of the studs on it had holes in them and they didn't cover them up with smooth plates or even regular 2 by 2 plates! Yes I can cover that up with my own smooth plate, but some people don't even have of those loose as they keep all of their sets together. (I do that as well but I have all of the pieces from sets I ripped apart as a toddler) The budget one from the $20 set looked better! Also one of the few cons in this set, for people ho purchase this at full price for $75 US dollars and about $90 Canadian dollars will be disappointed that it doesn't include the smaller Sakaaran ship. But a small con for a great set. The Milano - This thing is probably the best built Lego spaceship EVER. Yes even better than the high end Star Wars Sets. It looks wonderful next to the 2013 Republic Gunship and the 2014 Star Destroyer. The design is brilliant. Lego, whoever designed this needs a bonus. Anyway a person could find this entertaining for HOURS. So many parts move and there are so many missiles on it. 8 to be exact, and 4 that you can fire. You just want to pick it up and do a dozen swooshes and go PEW PEW PEW. Imagining the missiles destroying Ronan's Warship. Also this thing is stable. You can get your 5 year old kid to shake it up and down like a madman and only the helicopter blade things and the blasters plus edge wing things will rattle. The outside is packed with detail so much so that I can't even explain it all. The interior has a reclining seat for Star Lord, three extra chairs, a fire extinguisher, and a boombox. Also for some reason Lego included a star wars piece for the control screen. How does he read that? Verdict - The Milano Spaceship Rescue is an amazing set. Even with my few minor problems you are still getting the best spaceship around. Pros Excellent Figures Ronan's Hat Piece Great pieces for MOCs Movie Accurate Amazing design Spring loaded Missiles instead of Flick Several Moving Parts Cons Lots of Stickers Translucent Stickers are Finger Print Magnets Sakaaran Ship with Studs with Holes Showing A few Weird gaps in Milano NO WALKMAN FOR STAR LORD WHY LEGO WHY! (That last one was probably because of legal issues but sigh) Not even just an extra tape piece for a Walkman dang it

    This thing is gorgeous!

Comments about LEGO Super Heroes The Milano Spaceship Rescue (76021):

I don't even know where to start, so I'll work my way up I suppose. I got this mainly for the minifigures, and boy what value. I already have Rocket Racoon and the buildable Groot, so I admittedly got this set for the rest of the Guardians, and I had aside form Starlord, Drax, and Gomoroa, you also get Ronin the Accuser, which means you also get the villain. Sweet deal! The Sakaaran is nice too, I mean he looks like one mean guy. The smaller ship, I dunno if I can say much about it, the spring loaded missiles are awesome, and it's a nice little build, and I like that it's more or less a flying throne for Ronin. The Milano itself however, that thing is, it's easily the biggest thing I've ever built, it took a long time but man was it fun, and the end result was well worth it. The exterior is all kinds of gorgeous, it's just beautiful, the colors, the curves, the lines, the wings, the armaments, the engines, just everything about it is classy in a hot rod sort of way, fitting since Peter "Starlord" Quill is it's owner. The interior of this thing is awesome too. Peter's pilot seat was an awesome build as was the cockpit, from the back it's just a nice build, even if not overly detailed, and I LOVED the boombox across from the rearmost seat. I'll add that I adore the stud shooters and the spring missiles as I've always disliked flick fire missiles. This set was worth every last penny I paid for it. and then some. I might even order the parts to make another boombox. Oh, and Benny loves it too, he was quoted saying "SPACESHIP!" as Peter let him sit in the pilot seat.

I really enjoyed this set, It's very detailed and fun to build and to play with. I especially love that there is a place for Gamora's swords and Star Lord's guns. And it even comes with Star Lords stereo which I think is really cool. so over all it's a really cool set. I think the only problem with the set are that Groot can't fit inside. Great set overall!

Good set for a great movie

      By lepythelizard

      from Arlington

Comments about LEGO Super Heroes The Milano Spaceship Rescue (76021):

While I usually buy larger sets in the modular building and LOTR line, I decided to make an exception of this set after seeing the new movie Guardians of the Galaxy. I mainly bought it for the mini figures, but the set itself is pretty great too, altho I do have some small nitpicks. PROS The minifigs are very detailed and movie accurate. There is doe great printing on them, especially Drax and the Sakaaran. The milano is very sturdy and looks great. The necrocraft is how it looked in the movie, even if it looks weird. There are lots of cool pieces and accessories, like the stud shooters, the Hadron Enforcer, Star-Lord's helmet, the spring loaded shooters, and Gamora's ninja swords. Lots of opportunities for customization. For example, I replaced the headlight brick in Ronan's staff with a travis brick, and put a purple stud on its side to make it look like he put the infinity stone on it like in the movie. CONS The interior of the Milano is not very detailed, and Groot cannot fit inside. I wish that lego made two Groot variants, a large one like in the Knowhere escape set and one in mini fig scale for this set, because he can change his size. There are some annoying gaps in the construction of the set. In the movie, the necroblasts are green, but in the set, they are red. There are a fair amount of stickers

      Awesome ship, Awesome Minifigures

      By Orcy

Comments about LEGO Super Heroes The Milano Spaceship Rescue (76021):

I got this set mainly for Drax, Gamora and Star Lord. The ship was incredibly awesome and it was a very fun build! Sometimes when I build, it can get boring but not this set. I love the way the ship looks and the boombox is just amazing. This set also came with Ronan which was an added bonus. This can even be used with other minifigures, maybe the rebels from Star Wars or perhaps even some Minifigures from the small minifigure packs. This set i definitely worth the money!!!!!
