i LOVE this playhouse. Santa bought it for my one yr old daughter. it is kind of expensive but worth it. the roof is really high and i play with her inside all the time and i have plenty of room to breathe. i use it indoors, in my daughters playroom. the doorbell still works and i bought this a year ago. the door doesnt slam, its very good for even my 1yr old who couldnt even walk yet. she could pull it open, it was very light. i used tacks to put up pictures of family inside above the fireplace. i have pink xmas lights inside and out and a lamp so she can see. Everyone loves this cottage, they say it looks like something out of disneyland, aswell as all her friends.
it's super easy to put together. even to disasemble and put back up. and very sturdy. its the best buy!
i have nothing negative to say about this. its easy to clean. i use baby wipes and anythign comes right off. hte roof gets dusty and bc of the texture of the plastic its a little rough, but who cares?!

I was looking for something that wouldn't look obnoxious out in back yard and was appropriate for girls and boys,, this fit the bill! The kids love it! Could use a few more bells and whistles for the price.

My kids are now 8 and 5, we have had this play house for 4 yrs. This was used a lot when we had a babysitter at the house for daycare. Both my 2 kids and her son plaed in it for hours. My 8 yr old is a littl too tall to play in it now but still does. We have kept it outside rain, shine, or snow, and it has held up well. The kids love the sceart door. This is a farovirte toy for my kids and we even moved it from VA to MI.

I'm the type who researches for months on things before I purchase. I read good reviews on this playhouse months before I saw it on clearance at TRU for over 70% off the retail. It was too good a deal to pass up. (I don't think I could ever spend retail on ANY of these playhouses). My model did not come with the patio but that worked out fine since I keep mine in the house and don't have room for the patio.
You'll definitely need a drill to assemble. The house is tall enough that it'll grow with the child. I've had 7-8 year old kids in the house standing, no problem.

I got this for my 1 yr old. It was fairly easy to assemble, you will need a drill to get the screws in. I put it together without my husband so it is possible to do by yourself. My daughter loves it, she loves ringing the doorbell and opening and closing the door. she likes the phone too since it makes noise. i keep it in our living room but im sure it would be durable enough for outside use. it is big enough for 2 toddlers i would imagine since my husband or me can sit in there with her.

The excape fireplace, is a big hit. The sink to pretend to was the outdoor seating for 2 to share. The doorbell that rings is so cute. The phone I think was the biggest hit, my daughter plays like it is a restaurant and takes orders. She has stood on it (OOPS) and it held her weight just fine.

I have had this play house for 4 years now. Started with it in Rio Vista, CA then moved to Northern Maine. The play house stayed outside in 3 winters and also doubled as a great Santa's work shop as a Christmas decoration. Very easy to assemble/dis-assemble.
