Description



The Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible Car Seat is 3 car seats in one: rear facing from 5-35 lbs, forward facing with harness 22-40 lbs and belt positioning booster 40-100lbs. The car seat uses EPP energy absorbing foam, it has a 4 position adjustable headrest and an adjustable back support. The 5 point harness helps keep child secure while the up front harness makes adjustments easy. The detachable cup holder keeps child's favorite drink close at hand. The 3 position recline provides extra comfort as do the pivoting armrests and extra side padding.

Got this when my first son turned one year old. I do alot of driving between here and Phoenix. I find the covers easy to take off and wash. He finds the seat very comfortable. We like the seat so much we are buying a new one today for my second son who is 10 months old.
It is a big seat but totally worth it for their comfort and safety.

I had to use a screw driver to take off the cover after my daughter got car sick. Seriously-HARD to take off and clean and who wants to fuss with a puke soaked car seat. This one was too bad to clean with our spot cleaner. Our Triumph is SOOOOO much better and easier and just as comfortable. It just doesn't turn into a booster. (which I hear is equally as complicated to do)

I had bought this car seat (in a different color) over a year ago and I thought it was rather bulky, my son loved it. Just recently I was involved in car accident that totaled my car and my 2 year old son was in this seat and my didn't even move. this car seat saved his back, his neck, and him. I am going to be buying another one.

I had a ploice officer install this carseat, some are trained to do this.. I had one install my previous infant car seat as well. i trust them more then doing it myself. A lot of people don't realize theycan do it for you, free of charge. I like all the padding, and my son ooks comfy in it. This car seat however, lile many others should do a bette job w/ the head rest. I wish it my son's head was more secure when he sleeps. Othe then that, i am very happy with this purchase: )

It's not a bad looking car seat. The fabric is nice and it has lots of comfortable padding. However, where the lower straps buckle in, it is easy to pinch your childs leg. You have to be very careful to have enough slack and keep your hand around where it clips in on both sides. It really seems like the lower clip straps are to short and to close to the bottom of the seat and the childs legs. It's not possible to adjust it away from the area. Hope this makes sense. :)It's also not very easy to install in all types of cars.
