Description



The Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible Car Seat is 3 car seats in one: rear facing from 5-35 lbs, forward facing with harness 22-40 lbs and belt positioning booster 40-100lbs. The car seat uses EPP energy absorbing foam, it has a 4 position adjustable headrest and an adjustable back support. The 5 point harness helps keep child secure while the up front harness makes adjustments easy. The detachable cup holder keeps child's favorite drink close at hand. The 3 position recline provides extra comfort as do the pivoting armrests and extra side padding.

This is an excellent car seat! I read a lot about the different car seats before buying one, and I found this to be the best at a reasonable price. I was a little frustrated that it was difficult to put in, but when I took it to the fire station the gentleman there actually showed me that I was doing it wrong. If you have this car seat and think its difficult to install, I'm sure you are making the same mistake I was. I have had this car seat for a year and a half since my son was only 6 months old. He is now 2 and we are getting ready to purchase a second one for our daughter.

I've had this carseat for 2 1/2 years. I have found it to be pretty good. My son is comfortable in it. I like the easy adjustable back to it, where you don't have to thread the harness again. I do wish it reclined more and I don't like how the straps always twist! I have pinched my son's unmentionables too when I have clicked in the harness...oops! Would I buy it again. If Britax didn't exist, then yes but since it does, I'm going to Britax! More comfortable and appears to be safer?!

I love this car seat for forward facing, it works for rear facing also but I prefer to use an infant seat with a base for that. Looks great and it's really comfortable plus it seems to be really sturdy what more could you ask for?

I have had this carseat a little over a year and have absolutely loved it as a forward facing carseat for my 1 yr old toddler! He has just gotten to the point where i needed to convert it to a belt positioning booster. I am not impressed AT ALL at how this seats converts into one. It is not sturdy and provides no side impact protection as a booster. LOVED it as a 5 point harness front facing seat, but wouldnt not suggest it as a booster seat. Ended up purchasing my son a graco high back turbo booster with a boy desing for 45 bucks and it is great!

This carseat is very sharp looking and seems to be very comfortable for my son. That is about the only good thing I can say about it. My biggest complaints are the seat is way too big, even for a large SUV. It will never sit properly in the rear facing position no matter how big your vehicle is. Installing the seat is an absolute nightmare. Very complicated and the directions do not help one bit! Needless to say I returned this carseat. If you still would like to give this seat a try, you can find this same exact seat at [...] for about $100 cheaper. I do not understand why the price is so jacked up.

I used this car seat everyday and my son loves it. He has been using this seat without any problems for over a year now. He loves it he is very comfortable in it. My daughter used to use it when she was smaller until i switched her to a different one cause she loves pink and my son needed a seat. The seat reclines very well and makes it even more comfortable!! and its very padded so that makes it extra soft and comfy. Its easy to take in and out of the car and taking the cover off it also very easy to take off and wash and put back on the car seat.

We were involved in a rollover in our large RV. My youngest two were strapped in carseats, one of which was this one. He was sleeping at the time of the accident. After the accident he was still safely strapped in his carseat hanging sideways. He wasn't even crying so I know the seat cradled him good. The seat was strapped in using the seatblet and metal lock that was provided. I can attest this carseat provided the safety my child needed in an accident that could have proven deadly for him.
