The pillow pushes the child's head forward and it can't be removed. It is extremely uncomfortable and unfortunately we had bought it before a long road trip. There is no head support whatsoever. I was suckered in by the name and the fact that it looked really nice. I went back and bought another brand for less than half the money and I'm very happy with it. It is not attractive and looks outdated, but my children's comfort and safety is what matters. I'm not sure why other people like it. Possibly their children never fall asleep in the car. That is the problem because there is no support on either side, their head must go forward. I am very disappointed with this seat.

We love this car seat so much we have two of them. I have a different eddie bauer car seat in our SUV that I constantly switch out for this one! we bought the first one before our son turned a year old and he is now 3 1/2. Fits well in all sizes of vehicles, sedans, SUV, and vans. the cup holder isn't the best but I didn't buy a car seat for the a cup holder. Would highly recommend. Cleans easily, just slip it off and throw it in the wash!

This car seat is HORRIBLE. My daughter is 5 months old, but very tall for her age. The headrest pushes her head out so far it causes her body to curve and slump forward, and she hated it. It is going back in the box, and back to the store. I wish I wouldve read the user reviews before purchasing, it would save me a trip back to return it! This car seat is the worst I've ever had, hands down. I never had one this bad for my son, who is now 7 years old. DO NOT waste your time or money on this.

We use this for our 2 year old, and it's pretty easy to install using the latch system and the lap belt as well. I like how it's easy to wipe down but the headrest pillow does not look comfortable and when my son falls asleep his head always falls forward. We have to support it w/ a pillow when we take long trips. Cup holder won't stay on well, so we screwed it on! Other than that, I am glad it's a carseat that will last throughout all my sons car seat years.

This seat was given to us as a gift to our 2 year old son. He fit just fine in it except for one part - THE HEADREST! It isn't removable and it pushes his head forward. It puts him in the position to be slumped forward when he naps. It made my neck hurt just looking at him. If it wasn't for that, it would be a fine seat. But for any child that naps/sleeps on car rides - I would pick a different seat! We even tried it with his younger (shorter) brother and it was even worse. Looks cool online and easy to clean - just not a comfy traveling seat.

We purchased this seat online because it was a good price, looked comfortable, and matched out car's interior. Before even installing the seat, we put our 9 month old daughter in the seat to test out the fit. It seemed uncomfortable for her because the pillow made her head sit forward, and unfortunately the pillow is not removeable. Then when we tried to install the seat, we could not get it to fit securely in the car (i.e. it was moving all over the place). After two hours of trying to secure the seat we decided to just return it. I would not recommend buying this seat.

Used for my son and is now 3 and working great, now using rear facing for my daughter and fits wonderfully rear facing in my Honda Civic, which can be a tight fit. Very happy with both seats and very easy to install and reinstall when needing to change height possitions.

I selected this car seat because its color and styling match my car interior, it does not have the huge bulky base on the bottom, and because it can be used for the duration of my son's "carseat years". We began by installing the seat in the rear facing position ourselves using the latch system and following the directions very closely. The seat shifted back and forth and would not stay in the recommended 45 degree position. I then took the car to our local police station and had a certified officer assist me with the installation. She showed me how to use the 'noodle' pool floats beneath the front of the seat to secure it in the 45 degree position and stop the rocking. She said that it is a recommended procedure for seats like this and was taught in the certification class. Other than that, our installation was correct. Who would have thought that you'd need to 'rig' the seat to ensure it's safety for a newborn? We used the seat once for our 3 year old neice and were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to adjust the straps to suit her shoulder height.

I bought this car seat for my first son and am now buying it again for my second son. I liked how padded it was and easy to wipe down. The side cup holder was a waste- it never seemed to stay on. Overall, I really like this car seat and would recommend it.

I purchased this seat thinking if it is expensive it must be good, but the design of this chair is bad. As soon as my son sat in it the head pillow forced his head forward and he looked so uncomfortable. The pillow is not removable. He hated it. We still have it, but it is in a car he only occasionally rides in. I purchased another seat for half the price and no head pillow and he loves it. My son is not a complainers so I knew this was a bad chair.
