These spoons are soft enough for my four-month old daughter to use; however, they stain very easily. I liked the feature of them turning white when food is too hot, but they actually turn white even when food is only lukewarm.

These are great little spoons, just the right size for my almost 6 month old son. However my only complaint is that they are all stained already, and now it is a little harder to tell if the spoon has changed to "white" in hot foods.

I love the color changing feature for these spoons! Safe feeding for baby! I do wish they would come in packs with gender specific colors...that would be great! They work well but for larger babies a little bit deeper of a spoon would also be useful. Overall for new feeders they are great!

I thought these were such a great idea, and they would be if they worked. I tried them out in her cereal and they barely change color. I thought maybe it just wasn't hot enough, so I put them in boiling water to test them and they still barely changed. In perfect lighting, yes you can see a difference, but just barely. It doesn't help that the edges of the spoons are already the whitish color they turn to so it looks like they're hot before you even put them in food. Additionally, the plastic spoons are still softer than the safety tips on these and with a squirmy baby I occasionally nick her gums when giving her a bite of food. OUCH! Glad the metal ones never made it to her mouth.

These spoons are soft and serve their purpose to feed, but do not turn WHITE when in contact with hot food or water. They DO turn a lighter shade of color, but do not turn white. Don't count on using these as a hot food indicator (too hard to tell what they're telling you), just a feeding utensil. Use your own tongue and common sense instead to see if your baby's food is too hot.

Very helpful as far as temp of food, you know immediately, if too hot. Coated tip easy on baby's gums, making feeding easier.
Only draw back, not having enough of them, but now come in pack of four, yea!

Love these spoons, they are by far our favorite. Easy to use & hold. Spoon is not too deep so food easily slides off into baby's mouth. Have tried other spoons that were deeper and the food does not come off easily. The spoon safety feature is also a plus. They hold up well under use, not like plastic ones like Munchkin.

I really like the fact that the spoons turn white if the food is too hot. However, the spoons get permanently discolored (by food) very easily. It still turns white when food it too hot though. I also like the small size and smooth texture of the spoon - perfect for a baby.
