Bought this the other day for my 1 year old to put cheerios or other little snacks in. It took about 10 seconds for her to use her teeth and pop the lid off. I loved everythig about this EXCEPT how easy it is for her to open. If they simply turned this into a screw on lid I would be a happy mom with a clean, cheerio free floor.

I'm shocked to see that more people don't have an issue with these cups ...! Within minutes my 1 1/2 yr old twins figured out how to pop the lids right off using their lower teeth!!! Ever since, they've been completely useless:( . Every time I give them the cups, it's off with the lids !! They've become bath toys. Screw on lids would be a huge improvement in my opinion .

When I originally bought this for my son, he would pull out too many items and spill them all over. However, now that we've had these almost a year (he's almost 2 now), he loves them and can easily remove one item at a time. It allows me to feel comfortable with giving him snacks in the car, stroller, etc. This is a great item for toddlers! I have since bought more, and even others have purchased after seeing my soon with them!

Like the concept, but... the lid is flimsy and comes off sometimes when my toddler pulls his hands out with the snack. He can also just pull the lid off himself. Then food ends up all over the car seats, floor, sofa, etc. Defeats the purpose. Would be better if it had a screw on top. Playtex Twist 'n Click Flip Top 9oz Snacker is a much better choice. The Playtex version has a screw lid plus a stay fresh cover for when not in use to keep snacks fresher longer.

The flaps don't always go back to position, rather stick up and allow food to be spilled out. Little hands get 'caught' on them as well. I've seen not only my daughter but other kids using them and they don't seem to hold onto the food once their hands catch. This usually ends in the food being flipped from inside the container or being dropped back inside. I'm returning these and trying something else.

I bought these for my 8 mos old daughters puffs and cheerios. It took her less than 1min to figure out that she can hold the flap down and tip the cup upside down to dump the contents out. The lid is secure as other reviewers said but the baby doesn't need to get the cover off the dump the snacks on the floor. The only positive thing I have to say is that she can't dump them all out at once only about 10 at a time....

My 15-month-old has been using these snack cups for months without fail. He loves to take his snacks with him to daycare now that he is mobile, and it gives him a sense of independence that he can hold onto his snacks by himself. The lid is secure, and he can't take it off easily.

Bought a pair of these when my son was 12 months old and am now buying more (he's currently 16months). It took him about 1minute to figure out how to get into it. It has been a life saver since. We take them everywhere. I'm not buying more because we lost one and its nice to have extras when playdates come over.

Sometimes I'll put some cereal in it and leave it in his crib so if he wakes up too early and gets a little hungry he eats a couple and goes back to sleep.

The only thing that could possibly make this better is a solid lid. The same company makes a similar product - a bowl with interchangeable solid lids and snack lids - but its awful.

I would give it 4.5 stars. Totally worth the money.
