This is what it is: a cheap, plastic cart with empty boxes for play food. And that served our purposes well. I bought mine in the store (I got the blue and red one for my son), and though I tried to get my son a better quality cart with Sesame Street characters on it, he gravitated toward this cheap cart. So, I picked out the best one I could out of the selection at the store, took the cardboard off the bottom to make sure the wheels rolled before buying it, and he's been rolling it around the house ever since. Now I don't expect this thing to last that long (a few months tops), but for the price, it's fine. My kid is 3, so he knows how to handle the play food boxes without tearing/crushing them, and doesn't try to actually get into the cart. Younger kids may be a bit rougher on it.

We weren't sure if my daughter would like a cart, so we thought we'd try her out on this one. It is fairly low, she actually has to lean over to push it, and she is not a tall girl for her 2 years. Also, the wheels warped within a month, and now won't turn. I wasn't expecting a lifetime toy,but wanted to share. This one won't be a durable, long time use toy. Spend another ten dollars and get one of the more sturdy ones. I won't even donate what is left of this thing.

    It was an inexpensive shopping cart and the one both my kids liked best at the store, so we bought it. My 3 year old and 1 year old played with it daily for the nearly 2 months that it stayed together. Both loved it and it provided hours of entertainment. Unfortunately the handle snapped into three pieces and we'll probably replace this with a sturdier version.

      This caught our daughter's eye in the store, so we bought her one. Got it home, pushed it around the family room for less than 5 minutes and the front wheel literally broke right in front of my eyes---otherwise I would have thought she did something to break it. We hadn't even cut the tags off or removed the netting. I'm going to try to take it back tomorrow.

      My toddler LOVES any toy she can push around, and she plays with this daily to carry her dolls, stuffed animals, toys, etc. It is definitely cheaply made, and would break easily when played with roughly, but it has stood up for almost a year of constant use with our family.

      It is much smaller than other shopping carts (which can be an advantage if you have limited space) and doesn't have a baby seat in front which my daughter would have liked. This shopping cart will meet your needs, although you could get a MUCH better quality one for an extra $15 or so.

        Bought this for my 2yr old so she could grocery shop with me. She LOVES it! Only 3 wheels actually rotate but she can still push it with ease. It's actually strong enough to hold a few items of food. The only thing I don't like is that the wheels don't swivel, so inorder for it to turn she has to pick up the front and turn it. But she loves it and for less then $10, I'm okay with it getting beat up.

          I bought this for our daughter (she loves pushing baby carriages, shopping carts, walkers, etc.). Upon getting this item home, I realized that the handle was cracked, so I returned it for another. I gave it to her for Christmas and she loved it. However, she leaned on it once to try to stand up, and it tumbled over her head.
          The second time, she was walking pushing it, and she fell flat on her face and it cracked. It is not sturdy AT ALL! (This product would not be good for children who are still a little unsteady on their feet). Save your money and get a better one!

          It was so easy to put together that my 9 year old did it without my help! My 2 year old loves it and plays with it constantly. Although the wheels do not roll most of the time, it still gets around.

                    I ordered this shopping cart online. When I opened the box the handle was already broken and completely detached from the actual cart. Now I have to mail it back or they will only give me store credit if I return to the store. Such a headache!
