i wished they had a sticker instead of magnet. I am always afraid someone is going to steal it or it could fall off and i have to check it after every car wash and before i put my baby in the car. Living in the big city with many crazy drivers, i feel that they don't hunk at me much when i have the baby sign.

Purchase this when we had to move oldest to rear seat when baby three arrived; have tinted windows. Really loved this for the few weeks it was on the back tailgate. Appears someone else did, too...great example for your kids-stealing someone's magnet. Anyway, will buy again. Advice is to buy two...just in case...lots of people out there with no values, morals, and class. Also, wish they made a window sticker that was visible. I might write something on the back of the magnet with a metallic sharpie reminding people it's wrong to steal.

I put this on my car because I have tinted windows and the suction-cup version would never be seen in my car.
I have had it for more than six months, my car is NEVER parked in garage so is constantly exposed to the elements. It has not peeled, has not been stolen, has not lost it's magnetic properties, and I have moved it's placement a couple times and it has not damaged my car or it's paint job. Only thing: the yellow has faded. Also, I don't think anyone drives more safely around me because of it - I bought it because I use the carpool lane, but I am skeptical about peoples' respect for the "baby on board" sign these days.

[Additional info about me: my car is a 2008; I live in a moderate climate - occasional freezing temps but no snow; heat with mild humidity, not usually above 100 degrees.]

I purchased this instead of the suction cup baby on board sign because I have 5% tints all around my car and it is impossible to see inside even in broad daylight, so a suction one would be self-defeating. The magnet one, although it is a little smaller in surface area than the indoor suction cup one, really stands out on its own on almost any color car (except of course yellow). I think the examples of people having their magnets melt on them is due to negligence. I wash my car frequently and make sure that the environment my son will be traveling in is up to par for his safety which includes all the car maintenance and visibility out of my windows. Just remove the magnet when you wash your car and there should not be any paint melt problem unless you leave the magnet on for 6 months in direct sunlight...

I had my first child and wanted all drivers on the road to be cautious around my vehicle when driving. I have 2 suction "BOB" signs on on my childs side and the other in the back window, but my back window slopes quite steep and I opted for putting another one on the other side and decided to try out the magnet. BIG MISTAKE! The sign lost all color, started to peel and then you guessed it! It melted right to my car. When it first started to peel it was only the color, but it still said "BOB" so I figured the message was still getting across so I would keep it up. Then it just so happened one day I brushed past it and the letters started to come off. I figured it was time for it to come off and I didn't mind, what I minded was it didn't want to leave my new car which I haven't even owned for a full year yet! I have no clue how to safely get it off, so I guess I'll let it stay with me till the snowy weather comes and hopefully *fingers crossed, it works like with bubble gum in the hair. Expose itself to the cold elements and be gone with it. I'll let you know how that goes. Don't even bother yourself with this product.

I tried the hanging sign and you couldn't see it through the window. This awesome. It's big enough to be seen and small enough that it's not obnoxious. I like it.

I had one and it works better than one on the suctions, wash the place on a trunk you want to attach it and go. I have to order new one because lost my original one at car wash :(

I placed it in the back of my car on the the trunk. For other drivers can see that there's an infant in the car. so they can try to drive safely.

I bought this product rather than the sign that suctions to the inside window thinking it would show up better on my car. After just about 6 months of use, the magnet MELTED to the outside of my car! I have had other magnets on my car for various reasons and none of them have ever damaged my car. I live in the south where it gets fairly hot in the summer, and I never expected this product to melt to my car. DO NOT BUY. Just go ahead and get the sign that suctions to the inside of your window in your car. That's what I'll be doing.

I love it so much but it is too easily stolen.It would be nice if they made a sticker,a good quality one.Good product to avoid accidents.Even if the kids arent with me,I leave it on the car for my own safety :)
