These seemed easy to use and were affordable. Guess you get what you pay for. Within a week of buying these they stopped locking and my 15 month old can slide them open with ease. Doesn't exactly keep her out of the cabinets under the sink... They're going back!

These became very handy to keep the baby away from the cabinets. They can be fit to almost any size cabinets even if they are a little apart. They are made cheap though. One end is slightly larger than the other so that it fits oneway only but there is not marking. You have to figure it out yourself every single time making it a hassle to remove and put back on.

The "lock" slides right off! You don't have to push the button at all. We'll be returning this as it is a complete waste of money.

I don't see how this could possibly keep a baby or toddler safe.

After reading all the negative reviews I had to write one. We have both handles and knobs on our cabinets and these locks work fine on both. However, if the center lock is sliding off the "u"-shaped peice then you have it on backwards. It's hard to see but there are two things to pay attention to. First, make sure the jagged end of the "u" piece faces towards the cabinet. Second, locate the hole with the groove in it and make sure it's on top. My two year old yanks hard on both the cabinet and lock itself and it holds. The center part does seperate slightly, but again it still holds. It will only come sliding off if don't pay VERY close attention to the way you connect the two pieces.

Does not prevent the cabinet from opening at all. The slightest pull of the cabinet rips the lock right off of the slide. Shouldn't even be considered for purchase. Will definitely be returned.

I cannot believe that this absolutely [*]-made, totally nonworking product continues to be for sale - even after looking at the consistently horrible reviews that all say the same thing. The lock doesn't even remotely work. Nothing catches - it just comes right off with just the littlest bit of effort. I mean, as another user said, it has one purpose - to stay closed to hold cabinet doors in place - and it can't even succeed in doing that! Is Toys 'r' Us even looking at consumer feedback? Who exactly do they have designing and engineering this product, and why do they still have a job?

only one works a little. bought two sets of two. otherwise pulls apart easily. originally bought to keep the doors from opening when baby grabs handle and stands up. i don't want baby, who is learning to stand and walk, to open the door and fall back on the hard kitchen floor. when i test them, they open easily with little pressure on the cabinets. they seem like they work when they are not attached on the cabinet, but opening cabinets cause them to bend and the teeth become useless except maybe to warn you, in a quiet, small apartment, that your baby is breaking into your cabinets. might as well not put this lock at all.

Pulled right off. My 10 month old was able to just pull open the cabinet. If you have the knobs, it may work better, but if you have to spread the lock away from the "loop" part, you are out of luck, it will not stay on. One easy tug and it slides right off!

I just bought these today to keep my kids out of the cabinets and they are way to easy to undo that my 2 yr old has no problem opening the cabinets. My 4 yr old said mom you wasted your money these things dont work.

Nothing great about this product. I was exited that I was gonna keep my baby out of the cabinets, I got home but the lock keep sliding off...it can't stay put. I would never recommend to someone this brand...am yet to figure something out.
