When my daughter received this book for Christmas as part of her Tag Junior Book Pal bundle she was only counting to 5. Now she not only counts to 5, she counts down from 5 and can count to 10. She's not doing it in Spanish yet but I'm sure the more she uses this engaging book she'll be counting to 10 in Spanish in no time.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is a most amazing book which reads aloud to the young child, asks questions, gives instructions, gives answers and generally entertains the youngster who controls all this by placing the reading device - shaped like a snowman - on different images on each page. The reading device is purchased separately, is powered by batteries and the program for each book is downloaded from the internet.

My 3 yr old daughter loves dora the explorer so it one of the reasons i bought her this tag junior book and it also teaches the number which speaks both english and spanish!! Very nice book! She also has more tag junior books that she has fun & learns!! When the child plays with one book over and over they will learn faster especially the songs!!
