I really like the fact that the legs are purple, & the shoes and leotard don't come off. My daughter can't lose the clothes and I am not constantly putting them on for her. We have had this ballerina for over a year now, and I am going to buy another one for my 2 year old that is always wanting to play with it. Ours has not broke, if anything, there might be a scratch or two in the paint (being ours is over a year old and having a four year old as the owner) No problems what-so-ever!

These ballerina Barbies are gorgeous dolls and my daughter absolutely loves hers however, they are very poor quality sadly. We have two of these, the brunette and the blonde version and BOTH broke. The first one's head broke off within about 20 minutes of it being out of the packaging!My daughter was so upset! We've got lots of Barbies and this has never happened with any other and she takes good care of her things. The other one has lasted longer and is much loved however, the arm has broken off just in the last day! Terrible quality and there is no way to just pop back on the arm or the head of the other one. I gave it 3 stars because its such a pretty doll and my daughter adores them but really it only deserves a 1 star for quality.

        My daughter REPEATEDLY asked Santa for a "purple Barbie" so I was thrilled when I found this online. While there's nothing wrong with the Barbie we received, and it's cute and good quality....it's NOT purple! I understand the description said "Styles May Vary", however it clearly says that it's purple...My daughter was more then a little upset with Santa for not knowing her favorite color and we ended up finding another one from a different store...

                        My daughter really loves this doll.Barbie's ballet dress is painted on so she can't ever lose it or the painted on shoes. Seems to be holding up through bath time and play.The tutu is removable which is nice.Barbie can still put dresses on and they fit.lol So it's fine with the painted dress.We read the other reviewers comments.But that is why we like it so much,you can't lose the clothes.

                        I am not a big fan of these ballerina dolls (not just this one in particular, but all the ones they've had over the years). But I think this one is actually worse than the ones they used to have. Not only are her legs permanently purple, but you can't take her dress off! I mean, I like the hair and the fact that she has pointed toes like a real ballerina, but did they really have to make her purple? It reminds me of some show I saw where this girl gets a spray tan but she leaves it on too long and then her skin turns all orange. Besides, dolls like these are usually under ten dollars because they're poor quality. I used to have one, but her head broke off a long time ago. Her legs were purple, too. But she was actually able to change clothes, although she didn't have pointed ballerina toes.
