Got this Blanket for my Baby shower for my son. Has kept him warm and comfy at night since he was born. He is now 2 1/2 and drags the Blanket everywhere with him sucking his thumb....so much that he has worn the fur off all the corners. He doesnt care though and still constantly asks where his "blankie" is when he"s ready for naps and bedtime.

I will be buying him another one soon though to replace it for wear. It will be interesting to see how it looked again when it was brand new! Will still keep the old one for keepsake though.

I bought one for my son before he was born. Two years later I'm buying another. He calls it his hi-hee bippy and he loves it. He's always looking for it and cuddling with it. It provides him comfort.

However, it's not of the highest quality (hence the reason for buying a backup "bippy").I was shocked when we got the new one how soft and fluffy it is -- the original thinned out considerably with washings. So I suggest drying it on the lowest setting or air drying it. If it does become your kid's special blanket, it may be washed many more times than perhaps the manufacturer intended.

We bought this blanket for our 6 month old son and he loved it so much we had to buy another one. He still sleeps with it every night and he is now 18 months old. It has been washed a ton and it is still soft and cozy. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality adorable blanket.

i bought this blanket for my son when he was 7 months old and he loves it. Today my son is 10 1/2 months old and he still loves it. Very soft. I have washed it a couple of times and the color does not fade (thankfully). still looks brand new today even though my son likes to chew on it (only cuz he is teething) EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!

This is my son's favorite blanket. It holds up very nicely. Its warm for the cold months, but not too heavy for the warm months. I also like that is isnt so big and fluffy that it is a pain to carry around. I am actually getting another one to have on hand for when we forget it at Grandmas!

The name "hi pile" implies to me that that the loops forming the surface of the fabric are raised to simulate the softness of small tufts of fur. Of course, if I could afford real fur, that would be the preferable option to a synthetic material formed by polymerization. Unlike real fur, polyesters tend to build up a static electric charge. They are also derived from petroleum, which ideally I think we should try to use less of, as it is a limited resource. On a positive note however, polyester is not damaged by mildew and is naturally resistant to staining. You have to be careful because synthetic materials will MELT if they catch on fire. Often synthetic bedding materials nowadays are finished with a flame resistant chemical. Unfortunately the details of this blanket do not state whether a chemical has been applied for this purpose or not. For the price, the blanket is very soft and cute. I can picture our nephew having it with him every night.

I registered for this since it matched our nursery, and when I received it was very excited. It is so soft!

I put it in the washer with 2 other blankets, all of the same fabric and make. (Gentle cycle-cold!)

The other 2 came out fine, this one came out looking a hot mess! It is no longer soft. I am very disappointed.

I wonder if I can return it?
