The negative is that you have to remove the top before turning it on and off. An adult need to do this.

Received the r.c. boat, it did NOT work at all,called for a replacement and a return label to ship back the defective one. It has been 3 weeks and nothing has come to replace it nor the label for return. Will NEVER use online order again from Toys R Us.

I ordered this boat to replace another smaller boat, (which I bought in Ukraine)because the little screw was impossible to unscrew in order to put batteries.We had to cut the cover open!!! This bigger speed boat has the same tiny screw (hard to unscrew !!!) and it's was a pain in a neck to put batteries in!!! It worked nice though, when I finally put the batteries inside, but my boys had to use a tape to close the boat, because the screw was ruined...

We got about 20 minutes run time out of 2 of these. Each one lasted about 10 minutes. The boat must be getting water inside and shorting it out. Neather time were the boats abused. Please, do not waste your money.

i took this to north webster lake to try it out and it worked like a charm. went over the biggest waves and went at an average speed of 15 mph. this is awesome.

I did not like the product, it stop working the first time my grandson put it in the pool. water got into the battery compartment stop working returned to the store exchange got the second one home same thing stop working the same day.
