This was a gift for my girls. They asked for Barbies and they just love that they can have dolls that look more like them. They loved them, but I have never been a big fan of Barbie because of all the little pieces, but the girls love them.

These two dolls are a good representation of the big sister/little sister idea. The lovely colors and "school spirit" theme are wonderful. These dolls are wearing the colors of a long time African-American Sorority and allows young aspiring females to dream of becoming a member one day. Good job to the designer!! We did not have Barbie dolls like this when I was a girl.

As a collector of dolls that positively reflect my culture, I was excited to add Grace and Courtney and the other two, 2-doll sets to my collection. I like the big sister, BFF, and mentoring concept. Big sister, Grace, has a favorite school subject and pasttime, and enjoys being a big sister to Courtney.

The dolls were designed by an AA designer, Stacy McBride-Irby, who "wants African American girls to know that dolls can represent their career aspirations, hobbies, and backgrounds."

I recommend these dolls for anyone.

These dolls were very unexpected. They are designed by a new Designer and really show it. While the usual Barbies are beautiful and have great fashions, these dolls are actually refreshing. Each comes with a little girl, also dressed in excellent fashion. When I saw them, they melted my heart, and I bought the entire line.
