We had checked out alot of cribs before purchasing this style of crib from Babies r us. We were expecting twins so we needed 2 of everything. I am glad that Babies r us has a twin discount system(2 cribs under $200) Assembling them was easy we had no problems, I like that they are easy to move around the room and to clean. My twins were preemies, weighing just at 3 lbs, when we brought them home just at 5lbs I didnt have to worry about them getting stuck between the spaces in the rails or mattress. Now my twins are 2,and weighin 24 lbs they are stomping,shaking and runing back and forth of the crib and it is still holding up strong.

I bought this crib for my parents house back in Feb 2012. I went to the Babies R Us in the Detroit area and asked for the section on cribs under $200. Since this crib will only be used for a week at a time about 6 times a year I didn't want to invest a lot of money in it. I went up to each crib and shook it for sturdiness and checked out the construction/assembly. This crib was the best out of all of them in the under $200 range. It is heavy and I needed my dad's help to haul it upstairs.

It took two of us to assemble (me mostly holding pieces upright) but got it done in about 45 minutes. It would have been quicker but my dad didn't feel the need to read the directions and left a part out that was critical so we had to disassemble a portion to get the piece in. The crib is beautiful and really well built for the price. You can see all of the metal connector pieces. They look like screw heads but are flat and flush with the wood. Seeing the metal bits doesn't bother me but just a word to the wise if you don't want that. It has three levels for adjusting the mattress height. We put it on the top level for my daughter which is probably about a foot down from the rails. Not an issue if you can bend over but could be for newborns and mommy just had a C-section or if you are short.

Love the crib and love the price. We put a Serta Soy mattress in it and it fit perfectly right to the sides of the crib. No gaps at all for little limbs to get stuck.

Only con is that it does scratch a bit easily. Not super easy from every day use but my dad moved the crib to another room and it got scratched against the door casing as he pulled it through the door. Not a bad thing fot the price but something to be aware of.

We have been using this crib for my 18-month-old son since he was 2 months old. We've used it at every level and will soon be converting it to the toddler daybed option. I have been so very pleased with this crib. The cinnamon color is so pretty. The crib is extremely sturdy. Excellent quality and fantastic price. It's just so well built, you can't beat it for the price. There was no way we were spending almost $300 on a crib, and I'm so glad we didn't! The only thing I'm sad about is that when my son was teething he gnawed on the front railing and so there are teeth scratches all over it. That was totally our fault though. I didn't notice in time to buy a teething guard. I would definitely recommend getting one as soon as your baby can pull up because they surely will gnaw on the railing. I'm 100% pleased with this product and would but it again and again. If we have another little one, we will purchase another Graco Sarah crib.

This was our 1st purchase from Babies R Us & we won't ever buy anything again from them. We were thrilled when we found this style in an Oak color...yes, I know it says cinnamon in the header. It was an oak color in the store & they had it in stock. I asked the person taking it to our car to make sure it was Oak, they looked at the box & said "yes, it's oak". We bought it on 3-18 & today 3-25 is the 1st time we've had a chance to get it set up. Guess what color it is...Cinnamon, the same color as a cinnamon stick, which to me is a far cry from an Oak color. Our recepit says Oak but since the product #'s on the receipt match the ones on the box the manager says it's the right product & right color. So aparently their employees either can't read or just repeat what the customer says. Either way, we're now told that the manufacture probably discontinued the Oak color & the new Oak is Cinnamon. We never ever would have chosen this dark of a color for our nursery. So we're giving this one away to a someone that loves the color & buying a true oak color from a different store. And guess what, it's the same brand & style that we first picked out so the new store must get it from a different manufacture. Go figure. I had to rate it a 1 star or it wouldn't let me post this.

Love this crib! The color is rich and beautiful, and I assembled this by myself in less than two hours. My only complaint is one of the screws for the mattress platform doesn't go in all the way, but I'm going to take the one leg off and try to get the screw in when I have better leverage, instead of when I'm bending over the assembled piece trying to screw it all together. It does nick easily, but that's what you get with a soft wood like pine, and we knew that going in. Fortunately the color masks the dents I put in it trying to assemble it. For what we paid, we're more than satisfied with this product.

This crib is an excellent buy! We did not want to spend a fortune on a crib, and for less than $200 it fit the bill! We even used a 25% off coupon to get an even better deal. The store carried it in stock, and my husband put it together in about an hour. The directions were very clear and all parts and tools were included. As others have mentioned, there were a few nicks and scratches on the crib. We do not have a baby to put into it yet, but I would assume that teeth marks, etc might show pretty easily. The color is a very beautiful finish, and would look great in many nurseries, for a boy or girl.

I purchased this crib for my baby due in June2012. So far so good (although the baby obviously is not in it). It was relatively easy to assemble however it did come with a few nicks in it (hence the 4 stars). It is sturdy and does not take up a lot of space. It also doesn't hurt that it is pretty. We also wanted a crib that converted into a toddler bed because we definitely plan on keeping it for a while.

Easy setup, I've had the crib just over 2 years (bought when first came out late summer 2009) and is currently in the toddler bed/daybed setup. Converts easily to change matress heights and setup to daybed.
Only downsides- needs to checked regularly for loosening screws and it does nick easily especially when chewed on for teething...but found tie on matress/sheet savers fit perfect on ends to cover to prevent marks from teething! Easy save to the sleigh ends of the crib.
Looking into getting conversion frame for full size bed soon! Great purchase and has held up nicely! Had it not been for how easily it nicks would have given 5 stars!!! (checking the screws is normal maintenance to me)

We got the crib on sale for 20% off but even without it would have been a great price. Sturdy materials and very easy to put together. There was a smell of wood stain for a few days but it went away fairly quickly.
