I tried another brand of crib sheet first, and they didn't fit. I read lots of positive fit reviews on Carter's crib sheets, so we bought these. We love our sateen sheets on our bed, so I was excited to give Baby a similarly soft bed. Well, these sheets fit alright, but once Baby slept on them, she ended up with bits of fluff/lint/nastiness all over her skin and in her folds. YUCK! We took all THREE sheets that we had already bought and washed, and got rid of them.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The first time I washed it, all the sateen/ sheen came out of it and it was no different than any other cotton sheet. Save your money.
