We bought this crib when I was pregnant with our second daughter and have been pleased with it. We ordered it after having a positive experience with a different Babi Italia lifestyle crib for our first daughter. I read some of the other reviews about the color, but ours is true white and we have had no issues with the paint chipping. It includes clear instructions and is easy to assemble. My husband assembled it when we got it and again last year when we moved with no problems. I recently saw that the line was being discontinued, so I decided to go ahead and order the bed rails while they were still available. They were back ordered for a while but my local Babies R Us store put my name on a list and called me to let me know that they were available to order again.

I like the crib; it would have been nice to have something to cover the screw holes that are pretty obvious, but otherwise, it's a nice crib. Unfortunately, good luck getting the conversion pieces for this "convertible" bed. I definitely would NOT have purchased if I had known that a short time later I would not be able to find the parts I need. They shouldn't even sell this as a convertible bed if they don't have the pieces to make it convert. That said, if anyone has the pieces or knows a random place that has some, please share! Also - it's tough to tie a bumper on the bigger corner pieces. That said, you aren't supposed to use a bumper anymore.

Ordered this crib and it arrived in one week. Easy to put together, feels very solid and sturdy and looks great in the nursery. Only gave 4 stars since we haven't actually used it yet, but so far very happy with the purchase.

We ordered this crib for our baby girl despite the negative comments about poor quality/paint. The set is WHITE, not off white or cream as another reviewer stated. This set is beautiful and sturdy. The employee at BRU said in the past they have had issues with the paint but recently everything has been great; our set arrived in perfect condition. This is our second nursery set from Babi Italia (my son has the Hamilton Crib in Chocolate and its beautiful). This set has also been discontinued by the manufacturer. Overall, very pleased with this furniture.

I bought this set in store. I fell in love with the design of it and thought it would be perfect. They did not have a white crib in store, but with the description of white (not off-white or cream) I thought it would be white like I wanted. Well, after three different trips to go get all the furniture and bring it home we unwrapped it to find cream furniture! It looks dirty and just awful against all the white woodwork in the room! I am very disappointed and seem to be getting no help. It looks like I need to make three more trips to return all of this now. If you want WHITE furniture, do not buy this.

The piece looks great from across the room, but when you get closer you see the cracks in the paint and chipped paint. It's too bad too, because this is a great looking collection...from across the room.

I searched for 3 weeks to find the perfect crib for my first babygirl. I saw this, and instantly fell in love with it. It's SUPER sturdy, easy to put together, and also easy to move, especially on carpet. The only downfall, is it marks really easily, but i'm sure all cribs do that. It's expensive, but so worth the price. The quality is perfect!

We didn't have this EXACT crib but I have an almost identical one that Baby Italia sold 7-8 years ago. My daughter is 7.5 yrs now and has obviously had it as a bed for a long time. She abuses it like any other child (jumping/climbing/etc) and it has been taken apart & put together for 3 moves and it's still solid as a rock. It's a beautiful piece in her room. We are planning another baby soon and we would definitely get this crib again!

This crib is certainly well made. [...] The directions are easy to follow and two of us had it together in 30 minutes (and I was 9 months pregnant). The company even gives you a super heavy duty storage envelope for the extra bolts and instructions. The extra parts are for when you convert the crib. Another this I love is that it is short mommy friendly. I am 5'4" and I have no problem getting the baby in our out (even in stealth mode)and neither does her 6'2" daddy !
