Bought it 2nd hand and it still works

I bought this toy second hand and have had it about a month and it runs great! The turn signals are a little annoying (i.e. if they don't keep the little car in the scene on the road, it makes the turn signal on that side click) but other than that, it's a great toy. The braking sound effect is hilarious and so is the horn.

This toy is very cute. The little screen shows a police station, a firefighters house, a hospital, ducks, a dog, houses, a water fountain and some children. All these details match the police, ambulance and fire engine sirene buttons. Two music buttons play music from the 50's, some jazz I would say, very cute. My son loved it and played with it as much as a 1-year-old can play with a toy, considering the short attention span at this early age. It lasted about 1 week and it completely and absolutely died. We changed the batteries but that didn't fix it. It's not worth the money :(

It was very entertaining while it lasted... and that's the problem. It didn't last much, little over a week to be precise. It is not that my child "drained it". My 13-month-old doesn't have the attention span to play for more than a couple of minutes at a time. We changed the batteries (3 AAs) but that was not the problem. It simply died!!!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
